Peter was initially questionable for Sunday’s loss to the Warriors, playing six minutes off the bench. Even if he’s available on Tuesday, the rookie guard will be in for a similar workload since Andrew Nembhard is healthy. And if T.J. McConnell (hamstring) plays, Peter may be in for a DNP-CD.

Peter was initially listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game, so his not playing is unsurprising. The Pacers will be without eight players and are especially depleted in the backcourt. Ben Sheppard and RayJ Dennis will likely play heavy minutes, while Mac McClung may be inserted into the rotation. Of the three, Sheppard is the player managers should target for streaming.

Injured during Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies, Peter did not play the following night against Minnesota and is likely to remain out on Wednesday. Due to the Pacers’ many injuries, RayJ Dennis will play rotation minutes. However, he’s unlikely to do enough to merit being streamed. Fantasy managers should target Ben Sheppard and even Jarace Walker on their league’s waiver wire.
