Quickley playing limited minutes on the final day of the regular season is unsurprising. However, he’s done for the rest of the night due to tightness in his right hamstring, which is not good news heading into the playoffs. Quickley recently returned to action after missing time with a foot injury, so this is another lower-body issue for him to deal with. Jamal Shead started the third quarter.

Back in the lineup after an eight-game absence, Quickley played 18 minutes on Tuesday. The production was limited, as expected, but the Raptors appeared more cohesive with their starting point guard on the floor. Ensuring that Quickley gets some game reps under his belt is a clear priority for the Raptors, who play three more games in Week 24. However, with there being a back-to-back, IQ is likely to play in two of those games.

Having totaled 22 points on 7-of-23 shooting in his prior two appearances, Quickley had an excellent night in New Orleans. The 25 points were the most in a game for him since February 28, when he dropped 27 in a win over the Wizards. Since the All-Star break, Quickley has been a top-50 player in eight-cat formats.

After shooting 4-of-14 from the field in Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks, Quickley cleaned up his shooting on Tuesday. The Raptors guard made 60 percent of his attempts, and fantasy managers also received solid value in the assist category. Since failing to record an assist in Toronto’s February 25 loss to the Raptors, Quickley has totaled 30 helpers over his last three games while committing five turnovers.

The good news for fantasy managers was that Quickley recorded 12 assists, the second consecutive game that he’s hit double digits in that category. However, he struggled to knock down shots, shooting 3-of-10 from beyond the arc. Quickley has shot the ball well from the field since the All-Star break, making nearly 49 percent of his attempts. Tuesday’s performance wasn’t the best, but he’s been good overall in recent weeks.

A game that, on paper, looked like it should be a blowout proved to be competitive throughout. And that was good news for those who have Quickley rostered, as he played 37 of a possible 48 minutes. After failing to record an assist in a game for the first time this season in Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs, the Raptors’ guard racked up 11 on Saturday. Quickley’s double-double was his seventh of the season and first since January 20, when he put up 40 points and 10 rebounds in a win over the Warriors. Toronto plays three games in Week 19, starting with the Knicks on Tuesday.

Quickley provided points, rebounds and three-pointers on solid percentages, but nothing else. Wednesday’s game was the first in which the Raptors’ guard failed to record an assist, and his final line did not have any steals, either. However, even with his lean stat line against the Spurs, Quickley has still been a top-75 player over the past two weeks, according to Basketball Monster. He’ll look to do a bit more on Saturday when the Raptors visit the Wizards.

After getting off to a slow start, the Raptors grabbed control of Sunday’s game by outscoring Milwaukee 70-46 over the second and third quarters. During those periods, Quickley shot 8-of-11 from the field and assisted on five other made shots, four being three-pointers. The 32 points equaled his tally in Toronto’s prior two games and were the most for Quickley since dropping 40 on the Warriors on January 20. The Raptors play three games in Week 18, starting with the Thunder on Tuesday.

Due to a sore right ankle, Quickley is a late addition to the Raptors’ injury report. If he’s unable to play against the Thunder, Jamal Shead is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup. However, with RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram available, there isn’t much to gain from streaming Shead.
