Reath recently underwent season-ending surgery on his right foot to address a stress fracture, so he will not help the Hawks address their post depth woes. The draft capital is the “prize” for the Hawks in this transaction. The future second-round picks are a 2027 pick from Portland and a 2030 pick via New York.

Due to a right foot injury, Reath has been out since January 18. According to the Trail Blazers, he has undergone season-ending surgery after imaging revealed a stress fracture. Having averaged 8.2 minutes in his 32 appearances, Reath’s absence will be most impactful on fellow reserve Yang Hansen. However, while he is now the unquestioned third center on the depth chart, Hansen is unlikely to get the minutes needed to affect fantasy basketball.

Reath’s continued absence does not affect fantasy basketball, but it could affect the Trail Blazers’ rotation. If Robert Williams (knee) can’t play, Yang Hansen would be the only available backup.

Reath will miss his second consecutive game on Friday as he deals with a foot injury. Reath, in his third NBA season, has become a fringe rotation player for the Trail Blazers and doesn’t often log big minutes off the bench. His absence shouldn’t impact fantasy basketball in any way.

Reath’s status is up in the air after not seeing the floor during the first leg of this back-to-back. Robert Williams (knee) is questionable, and while there is a chance he plays, it is far more likely he sits out. Reath should fill the backup center minutes if he is available, though the responsibility will fall to Yang Hansen if Reath is out.

Reath and Cissoko’s availability does not impact fantasy basketball, as neither player has been in Portland’s rotation. In Cissoko’s case, he’s played six minutes in three appearances since joining the team in late February.

Reath was initially listed as questionable to return but has now officially been ruled out. He only played six minutes before his exit, and while Jabari Walker is the logical next man up down low, head coach Chauncey Billups has opted to utilize smaller lineups with Matisse Thybulle taking on more minutes.

Reath has been playing the reserve center minutes behind Donovan Clingan, but he may not be able to return to Thursday’s game. If that happens, Jabari Walker will fill out extra minutes in his place.

Despite success late last season, Reath wasn’t able to carve out a spot in the rotation for most of this year with Portland. However, he has taken on a larger role in the month of March, which allowed him to set a new season-high with 17 points on Thursday. He scored in double figures in three straight games last week but scored a total of eight points across their last two games entering Thursday. He played 28 minutes to Donovan Clingan’s 18, which isn’t a trend that will stick with any consistency, making it difficult to justify rostering Reath despite him playing well on Thursday.
