Robinson is still being limited due to left ankle injury management, which explains his appearance on the injury report. And with New York hosting Orlando on Wednesday, it’s possible that he won’t play against Memphis. If Robinson sits, Landry Shamet is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup, with Josh Hart and Ariel Hukporti also being options. Hart’s fantasy value will be fine whether he starts or comes off the bench, while Hukporti should not be streamed in any league format.

Back in the Knicks’ starting lineup after missing Monday’s win over the Wizards, Robinson was dominant on the offensive glass. In just 16 minutes of action, he grabbed nine offensive rebounds and finished with his second double-figure rebounding effort in three games played. Robinson also blocked three shots and made 80 percent of his field-goal attempts, providing solid value to the few fantasy managers who have him rostered. It’s unknown when his minutes restriction will be lifted, but the Knicks’ clear priority is to ensure Robinson is healthy for the stretch run. That does him no favors in terms of fantasy value.

Robinson is back in the lineup after sitting out Monday’s win over the Wizards for injury management reasons. As a result, Landry Shamet will head back to the bench. While he will remain in the rotation, coming off the bench lowers Shamet’s fantasy ceiling.

Robinson is off the injury report after sitting out Monday’s win over the Wizards, the Knicks’ second game in as many nights. His return means Landry Shamet will likely head to the bench, with the wing not offering much fantasy value when asked to come off the bench.

Robinson logged only 13 minutes on Sunday, and he’ll get the night off on Monday for the second leg of New York’s back-to-back set. With the big man sidelined, the Knicks may opt for a smaller lineup with Miles McBride replacing him in the first unit.

Robinson did not attempt a shot on Sunday, but the most notable occurrence was his sprained right ankle during the first minute of the third quarter. The Knicks center came down on another player’s foot and rolled his right ankle. The good news is that it was the left ankle that was operated on, and Robinson returned to action later in the quarter. However, with the Knicks hosting the Wizards on Monday, there’s a very real possibility that he will not play. If Robinson sits, Miles McBride (8/4/3/1 with two three-pointers) is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup.

Robinson is available after being listed as questionable on the initial injury report. While he will be in the starting lineup, Robinson logged 20 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Bulls. He’ll take on a similar workload in Sunday’s rematch.

Robinson made his season debut on Friday, playing 20 minutes in the Knicks’ loss to the Bulls. Sunday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Knicks, who host the Wizards on Monday. With that being the case, fantasy managers can safely assume that Robinson will miss one of the Knicks’ next two games.

Robinson saw his first action of the season on Friday. While Knicks head coach Mike Brown said before the game that the 7-footer would not be restricted, he only played 20 minutes. The good news for fantasy managers needing rebounding production is that Robinson doesn’t need much time to make a dent in that category, as evidenced by his 11 boards against the Bulls. He won’t provide much in most of the other fantasy categories, making Robinson more of a specialist than someone you can rely on for solid overall production.

Thus far, the role of the fifth starter has rotated based on matchups, with Ariel Hukporti (two games), Miles McBride (one) and Landry Shamet (one) all getting a shot. Robinson, who was projected to be a starter before the season began, is ready to make his 2025-26 debut and is expected to start. For his part, Robinson, who has been out with an ankle injury, posted “I’m ready” on his Facebook account, so he’s good to go.

According to SNY’s Ian Begley, the Knicks brought Robinson on their current road trip with the idea that he could play. Friday’s game against the Bulls is the final game of the trip, and Robinson’s ability to practice opens the door for him to be available. Ariel Hukporti has been the fifth starter on nights when the Knicks needed more size, but his playing time remained low. Landry Shamet started Tuesday’s loss to the Bucks, as the Knicks were without Miles McBride (personal).

This is the fourth straight game that Robinson will be sidelined to start the season due to “injury management,” which is typically a designation used for back-to-backs. Ariel Hukporti started at center in the Knicks’ last game, but he only played 10 minutes, while Josh Hart played 29 minutes off the bench.

Robinson will miss a third straight game to start the season as he continues to manage an ankle injury. Miles McBride (personal) started on Friday and could start again if he plays. However, Mike Brown could opt for a taller starting lineup against the Heat, which could open the door for Josh Hart or Guerschon Yabusele to start.

Robinson will miss a second straight game due to “ankle injury management”, which isn’t a great way to start a season. Ariel Hukporti should get another start at center, with Trey Jemison and Guerschon Yabusele playing small roles off the bench.

Robinson has been sidelined recently for what Knicks head coach Mike Brown described as “load management.” The situation is such that the center won’t play on Wednesday. Injuries have been an issue for the 7-footer recently, as he played 59, 31 and 17 games the last three seasons. Karl-Anthony Towns will likely shift to the center position for Wednesday’s opener, while Ariel Hukporti should play rotation minutes off the bench.

Robinson, who did not play after halftime on Thursday, made good use of his 18 minutes. Only committing one personal foul, the 7-footer was dominant on the glass, with five of his 16 rebounds coming on the offensive end of the floor. During the most recent season in which Robinson played at least 55 games, 2022-23, the Knicks were second in the league in offensive rebound rate and third in offensive rating. Obviously, the current roster is far different than the one that finished fifth in the East in 2022-23, but having a reasonably healthy Robinson on the floor would pay dividends for the Knicks offensively and defensively.

The first unofficial game of the Mike Brown era features a starting lineup that lacks two figures who were fixtures in last season’s first five. OG Anunoby is nursing a sprained left hand, hence Dadiet is receiving an opportunity to start. However, while that change won’t stick once Anunoby is available, that may not be true for Robinson replacing Josh Hart. Hart was a starter last season until Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, when then-head coach Tom Thibodeau took the wing up on his suggestion that Robinson start instead. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, Hart will still play plenty and remain valuable to category-league managers. Robinson’s value will be slightly boosted, but managers must consider his injury history.

Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau decided to make a lineup change on Sunday, replacing Josh Hart with Robinson. While the move would not be considered as the reason why New York won the game, both players were impactful in their new roles. Robinson recorded a complete stat line and provided a needed boost defensively, while Hart contributed eight points, 10 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 34 minutes off the bench. Given the outcome, it would be unsurprising if the Knicks stuck with the Game 3 starting lineup for Tuesday’s Game 4.

For the first time this season, the Knicks have made a change to the starting lineup that did not involve an injury. Robinson will start, giving New York a superior defender and offensive rebounder, with Josh Hart heading to the bench. While Hart can still supply energy in the sixth-man role, New York will need better defense from its other starters, notably Karl-Anthony Towns.

This isn’t a total surprise after Hart played 29 minutes in Game 2, which was the first time he played less than 30 minutes in these playoffs. Robinson, who has been lauded by Pacers coach Rick Carlisle in interviews throughout the series, played 29 minutes in Game 2 as well, though it was the most minutes he’s played this postseason. Robinson appeared to roll his ankle in the third quarter of Game 2, but must be feeling well if the Knicks are considering starting him now. The Knicks’ starting lineup is -50 in the playoffs and -29 so far in the Eastern Conference Finals. New York is a desperate team heading into Game 3 on Sunday after dropping the first two games of the series at home and coach Tom Thibodeau is searching for answers.

Robinson gave the Knicks a welcome boost during the first half of Game 2, extending multiple possessions due to his work on the offensive glass. He also recorded a few blocked shots, but New York’s many defensive lapses during the second half were too much to overcome. Also concerning for the Knicks was Robinson appearing to roll his left ankle during the third quarter. The good news is that he stayed in the game, and this was not the ankle operated on twice last season. Given the lack of consistent bench production, New York will need Robinson to be at his best for Game 3 on Sunday, especially now that they’re in a 0-2 hole.

Karl-Anthony Towns found himself in foul trouble in the first half, which opened the door for Robinson to take on more minutes early in this game. Robinson has been effective, which is why the Celtics have turned to the Hack-a-Mitch method to try and get him out of the game. Well, it doesn’t work when he turns into Steve Nash. Robinson will continue to be an important piece for New York in this series, though it is unlikely that he continues to have this type of success at the free throw line.

Robinson, who totaled eight points in the first four games of the series, had his best performance in Game 5. He recorded a double-double and four “stocks,” providing solid value off the bench. While foul shooting remains an issue, with the Pistons intentionally fouling Robinson on multiple occasions, the Knicks are aware of what they have in their reserve center. He’ll need to produce a similar effort in Game 6 on Thursday, especially if the Pistons can get Isaiah Stewart (knee) on the court. He has not played since Game 1.

Robinson has overcome his illness and will be available for Sunday’s game against the Pistons. It’s unclear if he’ll be able to carry his usual workload, so there’s still a chance Precious Achiuwa could take on a minor role off the bench.

Robinson’s status for Sunday is still up in the air. The Knicks big man has provided some key rim protection and rebounding off the bench, but is dealing with an illness. Precious Achiuwa could enter the rotation if Robinson isn’t good to go to wrap up the weekend.

Despite Robinson missing Saturday’s practice with an illness, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said he expects the backup center to be available on Sunday. If he’s unable to play, Precious Achiuwa will likely enter the rotation. While he is active offensively, the Knicks take a hit defensively when Achiuwa replaces Robinson in the lineup.

Unsurprisingly, Robinson will not play in Sunday’s regular-season finale with nothing on the line for the Knicks. With Karl-Anthony Towns also out, players such as Precious Achiuwa, P.J. Tucker and Kevin McCullar will log rotation minutes in Brooklyn. Achiuwa has the best chance of blowing up for fantasy managers in active leagues.

The Knicks secured the third seed in the East on Friday, so there isn’t anything on the line in their regular season finale. Even if Robinson plays, he’s unlikely to match the 33 minutes he played in Friday’s loss to the Cavaliers. Precious Achiuwa’s minutes will increase, especially if Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) does not play.

Robinson will miss a second-straight game, with both coming as part of separate back-to-backs. He should be back to play the Suns on Sunday, but Precious Achiuwa should fill out the backup center minutes against Atlanta. He had 13 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 21 minutes with Robinson out on Wednesday.
