Richards is good to go after being listed as questionable initially. While Jalen Smith and Guerschon Yabusele are also available, the former will be under a minutes restriction. This doesn’t make Richards worth the risk in most leagues, but he should play rotation minutes off the bench.

Richards may be sidelined for the second night of this back-to-back. Both Jalen Smith and Guerschon Yabusele started on Saturday, and if Richards is out, they’ll split the minutes at center.

Making his second appearance as a Bull, Richards once again came off the bench on Monday. And the 2020 second-round pick has taken advantage of his opportunity in Chicago. In two games, Richards has totaled 26 points, 13 rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Guerschon Yabusele (three points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer in 22 minutes) once again stepped in for the injured Jalen Smith, but deep league managers should not sleep on Richards, especially after the All-Star break.

Richards was rerouted from Milwaukee after initially being traded from Phoenix. The initial trade was expanded to include Dieng, with the first deal sending Richards and Nigel Hayes-Davis to the Bucks for Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey. Chicago traded Nikola Vucevic already, so Richards will be in the center rotation alongside Jalen Smith and Zach Collins. Smith should start, but he may not be the coveted option for the rest of the season that managers were hoping he would be if Richards takes away some of his minutes.

Richards has appeared in just 28 games for the Suns this season, starting two, after starting 43 games for the Hornets and Suns last year. He’ll give the Bucks more depth at center and could even play alongside Myles Turner if the Bucks want to stretch Turner out on offense. Historically, Richards has not produced much defensive value in fantasy, which limits his overall usefulness. He should probably be left on the wire in most formats.

The Suns are without Mark Williams for Monday’s game, as it is the second in as many nights for Phoenix. He’ll be replaced in the lineup by Richards, who can provide rebounds and a solid field-goal percentage in this role. Oso Ighodaro should also play rotation minutes at the five, but the reserve role limits his streaming value.

Richards will get his first start of the season with Mark Williams (knee) sitting out the second leg of this back-to-back. Richards hasn’t played much of a role this year, but he’s worth streaming in as a starter. Oso Ighodaro, who opened the year as the starting center, will continue to come off the bench.

Until Mark Williams (foot) is deemed healthy enough to play, three players will compete for the chance to serve as the Suns’ starting center. Richards, who has come off the bench in the team’s three preseason games, remains in the mix, with Sunday’s performance being his best. However, Oso Ighodaro (12/5/3/1) has been consistently productive as the starter, and lottery pick Khaman Maluach (7/2/0/1) may boast the highest upside. Richards has been a decent streamer in the past, which could also be the case this season. However, with Ighodaro and Maluach in the fold, it will be difficult for him to make his mark.

Acquired from the Hornets in January, Richards experienced some success with the Suns before his production tailed off down the stretch. While Phoenix has picked up his option worth $5 million, the contract could be attractive to include in a trade if the Suns were to go that route. And if Richards sticks with the team, he’ll be part of a crowded depth chart that now includes Mark Williams and lottery pick Khaman Maluach. Unless Richards is moved to a situation where he’s guaranteed to log significant minutes, there’s no reason for fantasy managers to draft him.

Richards was back in the Suns’ lineup after sitting out Friday’s win over the Cavaliers with a calf injury. While he wasn’t spectacular against the Bucks, Nick did record his ninth double-double since joining the Suns via trade. His return pushes Oso Ighodaro to the bench, with the rookie tallying four points, two rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes. Mason Plumlee, who also was available after missing Friday’s game, picked up a DNP-CD. While Richards hasn’t been a great fantasy option, he’s done enough to merit being rostered in deep leagues.

Richards and Plumlee are available for Monday’s game, with the former returning to the starting lineup. Oso Ighodaro will head to the bench, which eliminates what little streaming value he possessed. Who serves as Richards’ backup remains to be seen, with Oso offering a higher upside than Plumlee.

Neither Richards nor Plumlee was available for Friday’s win over the Cavaliers, resulting in rookie Oso Ighodaro moving into the starting lineup. Playing 44 minutes, Ighodaro tallied six points, 13 rebounds and four assists. If available, Richards will return to the starting five, while Plumlee is not guaranteed the rotation minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball.

Richards reportedly injured his calf during his pregame workout, which is why he is a late scratch after not being on the injury report. With Mason Plumlee out, Oso Ighodaro and Bol Bol should split the center minutes.

Richards’ 28 minutes Wednesday were the most he’s played in eight games in March so far. The 27-year-old center continues to start and is the preferred fantasy option to Oso Ighodaro. Richards would benefit from more minutes down the stretch of the season, though the Suns seem unlikely to play him at least 30 minutes per game.

Richards’ availability is more impactful, as he will be in the Suns’ starting lineup. As for Martin, his availability gives the Suns another option on the wing with Bradley Beal (hamstring) out for at least one week. Martin doesn’t need to be added in most fantasy leagues, but he’s worth watching on Monday.

Richards is on track to play Monday night after returning from a sprained ankle on Sunday. He played 19 minutes against the Lakers, with rookie Oso Ighodaro taking on the backup center role. Ighodaro would only be worth a look if Richards were ruled out, but that appears unlikely based on the “probable” tag.

Richards returned to the Suns’ lineup after missing two games with a sprained ankle. He only played 19 minutes, with Oso Ighodaro (four points, five rebounds and two assists) logging 22 off the bench. Since joining the Suns, Richards has been a fantasy disappointment, but being a starter makes him worth holding onto in deep leagues. With the Suns facing the Raptors on Monday, his status is worth monitoring. Ighodaro could be moved into a starting role if Richards misses that one.

Richards was initially listed as probable after missing the Suns’ last two games with an ankle injury. Mason Plumlee and Oso Ighodaro split the minutes at center, though neither was productive. Plumlee will likely return to playing a reserve role with Richards back.

Richards has missed the Suns’ last two games, with Mason Plumlee filling the void in the starting lineup. However, with Plumlee getting ejected from both outings, rookie Oso Ighodaro played extensive minutes off the bench. Neither player is worth rostering, even if Richards has to miss a third straight game.

Richards missed Wednesday’s game against the Rockets, which allowed Mason Plumlee to start. It’s unclear how the Suns might split up the center minutes between Plumlee and Oso Ighodaro, but neither one is a recommended streaming option.

Richards missed Wednesday’s game, which allowed Mason Plumlee to start. However, Oso Ighodaro ended up filling out most of the minutes off the bench at center. If Richards remains out again, Ighodaro will be a better option that Plumlee, though neither was productive enough on Wednesday to be worth streaming in standard leagues.

Since his stellar debut in Detroit, Richards’ move to Phoenix hasn’t panned out how he, the Suns or fantasy managers hoped it would. However, he’s scored in double figures in five of his last seven outings, recording four double-doubles. Richards is essentially a player who can provide value in the rebound and field-goal percentage categories, which gives him a limited fantasy ceiling.

Naughty Nicky pulled down a game-high rebound total and finished with his sixth double-double in 19 appearances with Phoenix. Fortunately for fantasy managers, Richards’ final stat line in the box score is all that counts. His on-court play was a bit less encouraging, as the Pels grabbed 50 boards and scored 58 points in the paint. Richards and the Suns are five games below .500, and they’ll need to find an answer for Zion Williamson in Friday’s rematch if they want to get back in the win column.
