Risacher got off to a sizzling-hot start with 11 points in the opening four minutes of this one, finishing the first half with a game-high 16 points. He knocked down six of 10 from the floor during that span, including a pair of three pointers to propel the Hawks to a 17-point halftime lead. The 20-year-old former lottery pick will continue shouldering a larger role for Atlanta with offensive catalyst Trae Young facing a four-week absence with an MCL sprain in his right knee. He hasn’t been consistent enough to merit a roster spot in shallow fantasy leagues, but he’s shown some flashes of big-time scoring upside. His time is coming.

Risacher returned to the Hawks’ lineup on Monday after missing two games with a sprained right ankle. Due to his return, Nickeil Alexander-Walker was bumped to the bench, but he still provided superior value to Risacher. Alexander-Walker is the superior fantasy option despite being used in a reserve role.

Risacher will be back after a two-game absence. Nickeil Alexander-Walker played well as a starter in place of Risacher, but he will return to a reserve role with the 2024 No. 1 overall pick healthy.

After spraining his right ankle during Atlanta’s season opener on Wednesday, Risacher has missed the last two games. While participating in shootaround does not guarantee he’ll play against the Bulls on Monday, it is a step in the right direction. Nickeil Alexander-Walker has started the last two games in Risacher’s absence.

Injured during Atlanta’s season opener on Wednesday, Risacher has missed the last two games with a sprained right ankle. Nickeil Alexander-Walker was the replacement in the starting lineup, which raised his fantasy ceiling. Even if Risacher can play on Monday, Alexander-Walker is worth holding onto in standard leagues.

Risacher will miss a second consecutive game with a sprained right ankle. Nickeil Alexander-Walker moved into the starting lineup for Friday’s win over the Magic and will likely retain that role. While NAW shot 1-of-10 from three, he played 31 minutes and finished with 19 points and four assists. He’s worth streaming as long as Risacher is out.

Risacher played 21 minutes as a starter in the season opener. Luke Kennard played 30 minutes off the bench, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker played 28 minutes. One of them will likely start, though both will play significant roles once again, even if Dyson Daniels is able to stay out of foul trouble.

Risacher scored 16 points in 21 minutes in the season opener on Wednesday, and there is a chance he misses Friday’s game. If he’s sidelined, Nickeil Alexander-Walker or Luke Kennard will likely fill the void in the starting lineup, with both playing extra minutes.

Atlanta did not play Dyson Daniels or Jalen Johnson on Thursday, so Risacher moved into the starting lineup. The second-year wing played well against the Rockets, shooting efficiently and recording a complete stat line. While Risacher is worth selecting in the latter rounds of drafts, Atlanta’s deeper (and more experienced) rotation limits his ceiling. In addition to Daniels and Johnson, the Hawks added Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard during the offseason. Add in the ability to play two of Johnson/Onyeka Okongwu/Kristaps Porziņģis together, and Risacher’s playing time could decrease after he averaged 24.6 minutes per game as a rookie.

Risacher shot an efficient 6-of-8 from the floor and 2-of-3 from downtown, finishing behind only Jalen Johnson (20 points) for team lead in the scoring department. Last season’s No. 1 pick is in line for plenty of playing time in Year 2, and fantasy managers will hope he doesn’t experience a sophomore slump.

France struggled across the board in their 80-70 Round of 16 defeat, but Risacher and Bilal Coulibaly were especially disappointing. Risacher shot 1-of-6 from three on the day, while Coulibaly missed all three of his shot attempts and went scoreless with three rebounds and four personal fouls. France, which struggled mightily when Israel switched to a zone defense during their group stage matchup, encountered similar issues against Georgia on Sunday. Poor perimeter shooting and limited frontcourt depth were too much for France to overcome.

This was a strong response from Risacher after he was held scoreless in 15 minutes against Poland on Tuesday. Risacher’s role has been limited during EuroBasket, but he has been able to provide quick offense at times. Heading into his second season with the Hawks, Risacher appears poised for a breakout year.

France went cold in Sunday’s 82-69 defeat at the worst possible time, going more than four minutes without a point during the fourth quarter. They could not come up with an answer for Israel’s 2-3 zone, flipping the game on its head. The good news for France is that Risacher played relatively well on Sunday, providing solid value on both ends of the floor in his 24 minutes off the bench. He’ll look to help France rebound when it faces Poland on Tuesday.

The 2024 No. 1 overall pick hasn’t played a large role for France so far, but he has been able to provide an offensive punch. He only played 12 minutes in Saturday’s win, but things went well when he was on the floor. Risacher will continue to play a reserve role for France, but he should be a valuable floor spacer for the Hawks next season.

With multiple veterans sitting out FIBA EuroBasket, France will lean heavily on younger talent during this summer’s event. That means more opportunities for Risacher, who logged 18 minutes off the bench in Thursday’s 92-64 victory. After finishing his rookie season in Atlanta as a starter, he may need to get more acclimated to coming off the bench. The Hawks added Kristaps Porziņģis this summer via trade, which opens up the question of who will come off the bench. If Jalen Johnson can consistently defend small forwards, the Hawks could go with a bigger lineup that includes Porziņģis and Onyeka Okongwu, pushing Risacher to the bench. Or, they could start one of Porziņģis or Okongwu, bringing the other off the bench while Risacher remains a starter. Before worrying about that, a solid run at EuroBasket could be the springboard Risacher needs heading into his second NBA season.

Risacher had a solid rookie season overall, but he didn’t end it on a high note. Risacher’s second postseason game was one to forget, and Quin Snyder didn’t leave him out there long to work through his struggles. He played 29 minutes on Tuesday, but he only played 16 minutes in Friday’s play-in loss. The No. 1 overall pick from last summer didn’t contribute much fantasy value in his rookie year, though he did have some big games sprinkled through the season. However, he’ll have to make some serious strides over the summer if he is going to be worth drafting in standard leagues next season.

Risacher and Gueye started Sunday’s game but did not see any action during the second quarter. Neither player returned for the start of the third, and their respective regular seasons have concluded. Both will be available for Wednesday’s play-in tournament matchup with Orlando. Risacher finished with six points, two rebounds, one block and two three-pointers in 10 minutes, with Gueye tallying three points, four rebounds and one three-pointer in seven minutes. Jacob Toppin and Vit Krejci started the third quarter.

Rissacher topped his previous career high of 33 points set against the Knicks on November 6. The No. 1 pick in the draft hit 12-of-21 shots, including 5-of-11 from beyond the arc as he led all scorers in Atlanta’s blowout victory. He’s got eight games left in his inaugural campaign, and he’ll look to build on this quality performance during the home stretch.

While the production outside of points and three-pointers was limited, Risacher continues to make strides as a scorer. Over the past two weeks, he has averaged 16.9 points per game on 53.5 percent shooting. Rostered in 30 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Risacher has provided ninth-round value in eight-cat formats during this stretch, sitting just outside the top 100. The rookie has steadily improved, especially after the All-Star break, which has been encouraging for Hawks fans and fantasy managers.

Most of the discussion regarding Rookie of the Year has centered around Stephon Castle and with good reason. However, one must not overlook Risacher, who has made strides since the All-Star break. Shooting 47.7 percent from the field, the rookie wing has averaged 13.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 three-pointers per game since the break. Risacher has not provided much value in the assist or defensive categories, which has limited his fantasy ceiling. However, the Hawks should be encouraged by his play over the past month.

With Atlanta shorthanded, the rookie stepped up on offense early, scoring 11 points in the first quarter. This was his fourth time scoring at least 20 points this season, two of those coming in his last five appearances. Risacher has gone under the radar as a rookie, but he is certainly in the conversation for Rookie of the Year. He hasn’t been able to produce value consistently, but when his shot is falling, he has been effective for Atlanta. He’ll look to keep it up against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Risacher had one of his best offensive games of the season in Memphis. He missed only two shots and made five three-pointers. Rostered in 21 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the rookie has provided ninth-round value in nine-cat formats since the All-Star break. Risacher still battles inconsistency, which is why the rostered percentage is so low despite him being a starter. The Hawks play three more games during Week 18, starting with the Bucks on Tuesday.
