There were few positive takeaways for the rebuilding Wizards at the outset of the Trae Young era as they gave up 128 points on the defensive end of the floor and shot just 42.5 percent on the night. The 20-year-old big man has been extremely impactful for fantasy purposes this season, averaging 17.2 points, 7.5 assists, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.3 blocks through 28 games. The Wizards close out the week with a road tilt against the Suns on Sunday evening.

Sarr and the Wizards entered Tuesday hoping to bounce back from Sunday’s blowout loss to the Timberwolves, and they got the job done. The second-year center, who has been a much-improved player this season, recorded a complete stat line on excellent percentages. Also, Sarr has now blocked at least four shots in six games this season. Not only does he have the look of a crucial building block for the Wizards, but he is also a player capable of developing into one of the most valuable centers in fantasy basketball.

Sarr made his presence felt at both ends of the floor with 19 points and five blocks. The 20-year-old center is becoming a defensive force as he just had a huge block on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the final seconds of Wednesday’s win over the Bucks. Sarr is 13th in per game value over the last two weeks. Washington will close out the week against the Timberwolves on Sunday.

Sarr came up big down the stretch for Washington, recording a massive block at the rim on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the closing moments of the game to jumpstart CJ McCollum’s transition attack and eventual game-winning shot. The former No.2 pick of the 2024 draft finished with at least four blocked shots for the third time over the past five games, and has scored 20 or more points in two of the last three. His work on the glass against Milwaukee also led him to his second double-double of December. Fantasy managers are hoping he carries this recent momentum into 2026.

Sarr sat out the second leg of Washington’s most recent back-to-back set, but that won’t be the case on Monday. The breakout center finished with a monster 20/9/1/2 line with six swats and a triple on Sunday. He’ll look to build on that strong performance when Week 11 tips off on Monday.

The individual matchup between Sarr and Memphis’ Jaren Jackson Jr. did not disappoint, with the second-year center holding his own throughout. The six blocks were a career-high for Sarr, who also recorded a complete stat line. For the season, he is providing top-50 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP (83) by a comfortable margin. However, while the Wizards open a four-game Week 11 on Monday against the Suns, Sarr sat out the second game of the team’s most recent back-to-back. Consider him questionable.

Sarr matched a season high with four blocks in just his third appearance over the last 10 games since December 1, as a lingering adductor issue has continued to limit his availability. When healthy, the 20-year-old former lottery pick has delivered a strong all-around impact, averaging 18.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.0 blocks across 29 games.

Sarr did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Spurs. With Marvin Bagley also out, the Wizards were left to start Tristan Vukčević at the center position. Sarr will be back in the starting lineup on Tuesday.

Sarr returned from a six-game absence on Thursday, and he played in two straight games, including Saturday’s win over Memphis. Washington is likely playing it safe with Sarr on the second leg of a back-to-back set. With Bagley III banged up, Tristan Vukcevic could be in line for big minutes against San Antonio.

Sarr missed the last six games with a strained right adductor. The 20-year-old center played just 24 minutes in his return to the court, but he still led the Wizards in points with 18. Marvin Bagley had 13 points in 19 minutes off the bench, but his minutes could be scaled back in future games as Sarr’s minutes increase.

Sarr and Coulibaly are back in the Wizards’ starting lineup after missing time due to injury. As a result, Justin Champagnie and Marvin Bagley III will head to the bench. This ensures that Carrington will continue to start, as the Wizards remain without Khris Middleton.

Sarr is no longer on the injury report after missing six games with a strained right adductor. His return affects Marvin Bagley III and Tristan Vukčević, with the former likely headed to the bench. While some managers in deep leagues can consider holding onto Bagley, neither he nor Vukčević has much fantasy value when Sarr plays.

Sunday’s game will be the sixth that Sarr has missed with a strained right adductor. The center rotation should remain the same in his absence, with Marvin Bagley III filling the void in the starting lineup and Tristan Vukčević serving as the backup. Bagley offers a higher streaming ceiling since he’s the starter.

Sarr will miss a fifth straight game as he continues to recover from a strained right adductor. Marvin Bagley III has been his replacement in the starting lineup, but the inconsistent production has made him challenging to trust in fantasy leagues. Tristan Vukčević will once again slot in as the backup center.

Sarr is set to miss his third consecutive game with a right adductor strain on Thursday against the Celtics. The 20-year-old center will be replaced in the starting lineup by Marvin Bagley, who had 13 points, eight rebounds and five blocks against the 76ers on Tuesday. Bagley is worth streaming in deeper formats until Sarr returns.

Sarr’s absence should mean increased run for Marvin Magley and Tristan Vukčević, though it’s unclear which backup big will get the starting nod. There’s no indication that Sarr’s injury is significant, and he may just be getting a maintenance day on the first leg of Washington’s back-to-back set. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his status ahead of Tuesday’s tilt with Philadelphia.

Sarr was the lone bright spot for Washington in what was a poor encore to their big win over the Hawks on Tuesday. Sarr has been fantastic in his second year in the NBA, though continued poor free throw numbers have limited his overall value in category formats. However, his leap in field goal percentage, combined with improvement in nearly every other category, has led to him providing top-50 value so far this season. This was his second-straight game with at least 20 points and four stocks, and he’ll look to stay hot against the Bucks on Monday.

Sarr recorded his sixth double-double of the season, with Tuesday’s being the third in which he’s scored at least 20 points. The second-year center has improved significantly after struggling for most of his rookie campaign, doing a better job of handling the NBA’s physicality. Sarr is providing top-40 per-game value in nine-cat formats and has shown no signs of slowing down. Even with the Wizards rebuilding, a late-season shutdown isn’t a concern for Sarr due to his youth.

Sarr missed two games with a toe injury, but is poised to return against the Bulls on Saturday. With the 20-year-old center back in the lineup, Tristan Vukčević will move back to the bench and lose his streaming appeal.

Friday’s game will be the second Sarr misses due to a toe injury. However, with backup Marvin Bagley (hip) also out, the Wizards will have to rely on Tristan Vukčević and Anthony Gill to fill the void. Of the two, Vukčević offers a higher ceiling, but neither player is a must-stream.

Sarr did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, with Marvin Bagley replacing him in the starting lineup. However, with Bagley (hip) doubtful for Friday night, Sarr’s availability is even more critical. If both players are unavailable, the Wizards will have to rely on a rotation of Tristan Vukčević and Anthony Gill.

Wednesday’s absence will be the first of the season for Sarr, who has been a fantasy standout so far. His absence frees up minutes for Marvin Bagley and Tristan Vukčević, with the former likely to replace Sarr in the starting lineup. While this is a difficult matchup, Bagley will be worth streaming in deep leagues.

Sarr may miss a game for the first time this season, which would open up the starting spot at center. Tristan Vukcevic and Marvin Bagley will be tasked with filling out the minutes. One will start, but neither will be great streaming options.

Sarr finished Wednesday’s defeat with his second consecutive double-double and fourth of the season. The second-year center has also scored 20 points or more in five games, as he continues to exceed the expectations of most fantasy managers. Sarr is providing second-round value in eight-cat formats, well ahead of his Yahoo! ADP (83). About the only thing that would derail Sarr at this point would be an injury. With the Wizards rebuilding, his playing time will be secure for the entire season.

Sarr came up big for Washington in this game and was able to turn in a strong line across the board. Overall this season, his rebounding has been improved, but the last two games have been rough in that department; he matched his season-low for boards in this one. Still, this has been an excellent start to Sarr’s second season in the league, and he’ll look to keep it going in Detroit on Monday.

Unsurprisingly, Sarr struggled on the glass against Cleveland’s tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. However, the second-year center shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded four blocks, continuing to make strides on both ends of the floor. Sarr’s start to the season has been very encouraging, but there’s still room for improvement. Can he be a top-50 fantasy player for the entire season? Yes. But, for those who don’t believe in Sarr that much, now would be a good time to see what selling high can fetch on the trade market.

While it’s still early in the 2025-26 season, Sarr’s progress from Year 1 to Year 2 has been impressive. He was one of the few bright spots in Wednesday’s blowout loss, continuing an excellent run to begin the season. Sarr is providing top-25 value in nine-cat formats thus far, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a fantasy manager who expected this level of production. While some may be tempted to sell high, his role is such that Sarr can still provide excellent value, and he won’t be a shutdown risk on this rebuilding team.

While he struggled to corral Karl-Anthony Towns defensively, that didn’t prevent Sarr from putting up a solid stat line. The only thing missing from his line was a three-pointer, but the second-year center has taken fewer of those shots thus far to excellent effect. Sarr is shooting 52.7 percent from the field, a significant reason why he’s providing third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Based on his Yahoo! ADP of 83, many expected Sarr to be a top-100 player this season. He’s exceeded those expectations thus far.

Sarr had a relatively quiet night on the offensive end of the floor, but the rebounds and blocks were useful. Through six games, the second-year center is shooting 53.4 percent from the field, a significant improvement on his 39.4 mark as a rookie. Sarr’s three-point attempts have decreased, and he’s been more accurate with the ones he’s taken. He’s shooting 42.9 percent on 2.8 attempts per game after making 30.8 percent of his 5.1 attempts per game as a rookie. Can Sarr maintain top-50 value for the entire season? We’ll see. But there’s no denying that he’s headed in the right direction. The Wizards play four games during Week 3, starting with the Knicks on Monday.

Two nights removed from putting up 23 shots in an overtime loss to the 76ers, Sarr only took 11 shots against the Thunder. While there was some foul trouble for the second-year center to navigate, the Wizards need to make a more concerted effort to get him the ball than they did on Thursday. Especially with Bilal Coulibaly returning from an offseason thumb injury on Thursday. Washington ends its week with a home game against the Magic on Saturday.
