    Recap

Day’Ron Sharpe tallied 14 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists and three steals in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics.

Sharpe hit double figures for the third time this season on Tuesday, and he’s produced respectable scoring and rebounding averages over the last two weeks. During this stretch, he’s averaged 7.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists, but the defensive stats have been lacking on most nights. And with Nic Claxton (7/11/3/0/1) ahead of him in the pecking order, Sharpe’s fantasy ceiling is extremely limited. He’s only worth rostering on nights when Clax is unavailable.

    Injury

Day’Ron Sharpe (glute) is available for Friday’s matchup with the Magic.

As expected, Sharpe is back following a one-game absence. His availability could mean less run for Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton, though both should still see meaningful minutes.

    Injury

Day’Ron Sharpe (glute) is probable to play against the Magic on Friday.

Sharpe is expected to be back after a one-game absence. Noah Clowney, who has been starting for Brooklyn, saw a bump in minutes and filled the backup center role when Nic Claxton was on the bench. Clowney should still play a large role, but he’ll lose a few minutes with Sharpe expected back.

    Injury

Day’Ron Sharpe (glute) has been ruled out against the Raptors on Tuesday.

Sharpe was initially listed with a hamstring injury, but that has been updated to a left glute contusion. Noah Clowney and Danny Wolf should fill out the center minutes when Nic Claxton isn’t on the floor.

    Injury

Day’Ron Sharpe (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors.

Sharpe exited Sunday’s loss to the Knicks during the third quarter due to left hamstring tightness. While his absence would not impact fantasy basketball, it would free up minutes behind starting center Nic Claxton. Danny Wolf, who was on assignment in the G League, could be recalled if Sharpe cannot play.

    Injury

Day’Ron Sharpe (hamstring) finished Sunday’s loss to the Knicks with 10 points (3-of-3 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot.

Sharpe was on a roll Sunday night, making all three of his field-goal attempts and going 4-of-4 from the foul line. Unfortunately, tightness in his left hamstring ended the Nets’ center’s night with 1:49 remaining in the third quarter. Brooklyn opens a three-game Week 4 at home against the Raptors on Tuesday, and Sharpe’s injury could mean rotation minutes for Danny Wolf if he misses time. Wolf, one of Brooklyn’s five first-round picks in June, was on assignment with the team’s G League affiliate on Sunday.

    Recap

Day’Ron Sharpe contributed 17 points (6-of-7 FGs), 12 rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer against the Rockets on Monday.

There weren’t many bright spots in this game for Brooklyn, but Sharpe was able to record his first double-double of the season off the bench. He played 22 minutes to Noah Clowney’s 16 and was significantly more productive. Though Nic Claxton will continue to be the team’s starting center, Sharpe has been able to showcase his upside early on this year. He’s worth stashing in dynasty leagues and could be really productive in March and April.

    Transaction

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports PF/C Day’Ron Sharpe will re-sign with the Nets.

It’ll be a two-year, $12 million contract per Charania. Sharpe finished with 7.9 points and 6.6 rebounds across 18.2 minutes in his fourth season, setting new career-best marks in all three categories. In his age-24 season, he’ll compete with rookie Danny Wolf for backup minutes behind Nic Claxton.

    Injury

Day’Ron Sharpe (knee) is out against the Knicks on Sunday.

Unsurprisingly, Sharpe, who hasn’t played since March 24, will remain sidelined for Brooklyn’s season finale. Expect Drew Timme to continue to dominate the minutes at center in a meaningless game for the Nets.

    Injury

Day’Ron Sharpe (knee) has no timetable for return.

Sharpe has missed four straight games with a knee injury and there’s no telling when he’ll return to the hardwood. Drew Timme is next in line to back up Nic Claxton at center.

Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said Day’Ron Sharpe (knee) will be re-evaluated soon.

Sharpe has missed four straight games with a knee injury, and there isn’t a clear timetable for his return. Being re-evaluated “soon” isn’t an optimistic timeline for his return to the rotation. With Noah Clowney (ankle) done for the rest of the season, Drew Timme will continue to fill out the backup center minutes.

    Recap

Day’Ron Sharpe logged 24 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Mavericks, tallying 10 points (5-of-8 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.

While Sharpe has recorded three steals or more in three games this season, he isn’t expected to provide value in that category on most nights. Rostered in 13 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Sharpe has provided 12th-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Coming off the bench behind Nic Claxton negatively impacts Day’Ron’s fantasy value, but Nets coach Jordi Fernandez has been willing to play the two together on occasion.

    Recap

Day’Ron Sharpe logged 31 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Celtics, finishing with nine points (4-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 16 rebounds and five assists.

The Nets were without Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney for Saturday’s game, ensuring Sharpe a place in the starting lineup. While he didn’t shoot the ball as well as he’s capable of, the fourth-year center was productive in the rebound and assist categories. How active Claxton will be for the rest of the season is unknown, but Sharpe will have value if the Nets decide to limit their starting center or shut him down altogether. Brooklyn begins a three-game Week 20 in Boston on Tuesday.

D’Angelo Russell, Keon Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Ziaire Williams and Day’Ron Sharpe will start Saturday’s game against the Celtics.

The Nets are without Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton, with the former ruled out for the rest of the season. Keon Johnson and Day’Ron Sharpe move into the starting lineup and should be streamed while in these roles. Johnson may potentially remain a starter moving forward.

    Recap

Day’Ron Sharpe made the most of his opportunity Wednesday night, finishing Wednesday’s 129-121 loss to the Thunder with 25 points (8-of-10 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), 16 rebounds, five assists, two steals, three blocks and two three-pointers in 31 minutes.

Starting for the suspended Nic Claxton, Sharpe had the best game of his NBA career on Wednesday. He established season-highs in points (25) and rebounds (16), with the former also being a career-high. Also, this was just Sharpe’s fourth 20-point game as a professional and first since March 2023. This night won’t change much in the short term, as Claxton will be eligible for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers. However, fantasy managers should file this away for the “silly season,” especially if Noah Clowney doesn’t return from his ankle injury anytime soon.

Killian Hayes, Keon Johnson, Ziaire Williams, Cameron Johnson and Day’Ron Sharpe will start Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.

Starting center Nic Claxton is serving a one-game suspension after recording his sixth flagrant foul point of the season during Monday’s loss to the Wizards. Sharpe will move into the starting lineup, raising his fantasy ceiling despite the difficulty of this matchup. He’s worth streaming with Claxton and Noah Clowney unavailable.
