Sharpe was one of three Nets players to score in double figures against the Thunder. All of his scoring came from inside the arc, where he also had success securing rebounds. Friday’s total marked the fourth time in February he’s finished a game with double-digit points. While he won’t often log massive performances from a numbers standpoint, he’s certainly a double-double candidate on a nightly basis.

With Nic Claxton (hip) sidelined for this game, Sharpe was able to start for the fourth time this season. He was able to match his season high for scoring and record a double-double while still contributing in other categories. If Claxton misses more time down the stretch, Sharpe will be a fantasy stud in an increased role. He’s currently rostered in just 15 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

With Nic Claxton (hip) sidelined, Sharpe will get the starting nod at center. The other change to the starting unit will be Williams entering in place of Danny Wolf, who will be available off the bench. Sharpe should be in for a productive night.

Sharpe continues to back up Nic Claxton (11 points, five rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes), but that didn’t prevent him from recording a solid stat line on Saturday. The 6-foot-9 forward/center finished one rebound shy of a double-double, and fantasy managers can also benefit from the assists and steals. Getting ahead of the rush and adding Sharpe now instead of waiting for the silly season would not be a bad idea, especially with the minutes he’s currently getting.

While Nic Claxton (10 points, five rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes) will start whenever he’s available, now may be the time for fantasy managers seeking “silly season” value to invest in Sharpe, if they haven’t already. He recorded his third double-double of the season against the Lakers, recording season-highs in points and rebounds while also posting solid numbers in assists and steals. The Nets only play two more games in Week 16, but that should not deter deep-league managers from strongly considering Sharpe.

Since Nic Claxton (six points, six rebounds, one assist, two steals and one blocked shot) was available, Sharpe was consigned to the bench on Sunday. However, he still posted a solid stat line, including a career-high four steals — his third time reaching this mark. While Sharpe’s fantasy ceiling right now depends on Claxton’s availability, he has the look of a player who could be a standout during the “silly season.” The Nets play four games in Week 15, including a midweek back-to-back, so now is a good time for deep-league managers to kick the tires on Sharpe.

Sharpe sat out Monday’s loss to Phoenix, but he’ll be back after a one-game absence. Sharpe’s availability should mean a decrease in playing time for Nic Claxton, who logged 37 minutes against the Suns.

Sharpe was not available for Monday’s loss to the Suns, which factored into starting center Nic Claxton playing 37 minutes. While Danny Wolf and Jalen Wilson can absorb a few of the minutes that would usually go to Sharpe, his availability affects Claxton, who should already be rostered in standard leagues, the most.

Sharpe will miss Monday’s game due to two injuries: illness and a throat contusion. Danny Wolf and Jalen Wilson are two players who can absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to Sharpe, and the Nets can also stagger the minutes of starters Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney.

Sharpe was productive in his first start of the season. The 24-year-old center stepped up with Nic Claxton (personal) out, scoring 14 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Sharpe also had three assists and filled the stat sheet with two steals and two blocks. After a game like this, there could be more starts in the future for Sharpe.

The Nets won’t have Michael Porter Jr. or Nic Claxton for Friday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Mann and Sharpe will start, with the former back in action after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Rockets. The other change is Dëmin, whose return to action pushes Drake Powell to the bench.

Sharpe provided a spark off the bench as Brooklyn raced out to a big lead early and was able to cruise to a relatively easy win. He knocked down all four of his shots from the floor to finish the first half with nine points off the bench. He finished with a solid all-around line as he also added a couple rebounds and assists in addition to a steal and a block. There are plenty of mouths to feed in Brooklyn, which limits his fantasy ceiling, but he’s averaged just over 16 minutes per-game this season. He would have some appeal in deeper fantasy leagues if he were able to get into the starting lineup.

Sharpe hit double figures for the third time this season on Tuesday, and he’s produced respectable scoring and rebounding averages over the last two weeks. During this stretch, he’s averaged 7.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists, but the defensive stats have been lacking on most nights. And with Nic Claxton (7/11/3/0/1) ahead of him in the pecking order, Sharpe’s fantasy ceiling is extremely limited. He’s only worth rostering on nights when Clax is unavailable.

As expected, Sharpe is back following a one-game absence. His availability could mean less run for Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton, though both should still see meaningful minutes.

Sharpe is expected to be back after a one-game absence. Noah Clowney, who has been starting for Brooklyn, saw a bump in minutes and filled the backup center role when Nic Claxton was on the bench. Clowney should still play a large role, but he’ll lose a few minutes with Sharpe expected back.

Sharpe was initially listed with a hamstring injury, but that has been updated to a left glute contusion. Noah Clowney and Danny Wolf should fill out the center minutes when Nic Claxton isn’t on the floor.

Sharpe exited Sunday’s loss to the Knicks during the third quarter due to left hamstring tightness. While his absence would not impact fantasy basketball, it would free up minutes behind starting center Nic Claxton. Danny Wolf, who was on assignment in the G League, could be recalled if Sharpe cannot play.

Sharpe was on a roll Sunday night, making all three of his field-goal attempts and going 4-of-4 from the foul line. Unfortunately, tightness in his left hamstring ended the Nets’ center’s night with 1:49 remaining in the third quarter. Brooklyn opens a three-game Week 4 at home against the Raptors on Tuesday, and Sharpe’s injury could mean rotation minutes for Danny Wolf if he misses time. Wolf, one of Brooklyn’s five first-round picks in June, was on assignment with the team’s G League affiliate on Sunday.

There weren’t many bright spots in this game for Brooklyn, but Sharpe was able to record his first double-double of the season off the bench. He played 22 minutes to Noah Clowney’s 16 and was significantly more productive. Though Nic Claxton will continue to be the team’s starting center, Sharpe has been able to showcase his upside early on this year. He’s worth stashing in dynasty leagues and could be really productive in March and April.

It’ll be a two-year, $12 million contract per Charania. Sharpe finished with 7.9 points and 6.6 rebounds across 18.2 minutes in his fourth season, setting new career-best marks in all three categories. In his age-24 season, he’ll compete with rookie Danny Wolf for backup minutes behind Nic Claxton.

Sharpe has missed four straight games with a knee injury, and there isn’t a clear timetable for his return. Being re-evaluated “soon” isn’t an optimistic timeline for his return to the rotation. With Noah Clowney (ankle) done for the rest of the season, Drew Timme will continue to fill out the backup center minutes.

While Sharpe has recorded three steals or more in three games this season, he isn’t expected to provide value in that category on most nights. Rostered in 13 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Sharpe has provided 12th-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Coming off the bench behind Nic Claxton negatively impacts Day’Ron’s fantasy value, but Nets coach Jordi Fernandez has been willing to play the two together on occasion.

The Nets were without Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney for Saturday’s game, ensuring Sharpe a place in the starting lineup. While he didn’t shoot the ball as well as he’s capable of, the fourth-year center was productive in the rebound and assist categories. How active Claxton will be for the rest of the season is unknown, but Sharpe will have value if the Nets decide to limit their starting center or shut him down altogether. Brooklyn begins a three-game Week 20 in Boston on Tuesday.

Starting for the suspended Nic Claxton, Sharpe had the best game of his NBA career on Wednesday. He established season-highs in points (25) and rebounds (16), with the former also being a career-high. Also, this was just Sharpe’s fourth 20-point game as a professional and first since March 2023. This night won’t change much in the short term, as Claxton will be eligible for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers. However, fantasy managers should file this away for the “silly season,” especially if Noah Clowney doesn’t return from his ankle injury anytime soon.

Starting center Nic Claxton is serving a one-game suspension after recording his sixth flagrant foul point of the season during Monday’s loss to the Wizards. Sharpe will move into the starting lineup, raising his fantasy ceiling despite the difficulty of this matchup. He’s worth streaming with Claxton and Noah Clowney unavailable.
