According to the NBA, Schröder confronted and attempted to strike another player 40 minutes after the Kings’ 125-101 loss to the Lakers in a Crypto.com Arena hallway. ESPN has reported that the player was Lakers guard Luka Dončić. His suspension will begin with Sunday’s game against the Rockets, and Schröder will be eligible to return on January 16 against the Wizards.

Schröder shot well both inside and outside the arc to finish as one of Sacramento’s top scorers on the evening. And in addition to his scoring, he tallied a team-high in assists in his 28 minutes of game action. Schröder has now scored in double figures in seven straight games and continues to produce regardless of whether he’s starting games or not. He’ll have a chance to find more production against the Suns on Friday.

Since returning from an ankle injury, Schröder has scored at least 17 points in three of his four appearances. He’s still coming off the bench, but Kings head coach Doug Christie has not hesitated to play Schröder and Russell Westbrook together. While he still hasn’t reached the point where he should be rostered in standard leagues, Schröder remains a player worth holding onto in deeper formats.

Schröder continues to come off the bench, but he’s scored at least 17 points in two of the three games he’s played since returning from a hip injury. Since being moved to the bench on November 14, he’s recorded four 20-point games in eight appearances. While the demotion has lowered Schröder’s fantasy ceiling considerably, he’s still worth holding onto in some deep leagues. The Kings play three games in Week 10, starting with the Pistons on Tuesday.

Schröder is good to go after initially being questionable for Thursday’s game. He’ll slot in as Russell Westbrook’s backup, with there likely being times when they’re on the court together. However, fantasy managers in most leagues can afford to leave Schröder on the waiver wire.

After making his return from a hip injury on Sunday, Schröder is back on the Kings’ injury report. He played 25 minutes off the bench against the Timberwolves and would be in line for a similar workload if available to play against Portland. However, there isn’t much to gain from rostering Schröder as long as Russell Westbrook is starting at the point.

Schröder returned to Sacramento’s lineup following a seven-game absence due to a hip injury. The 32-year-old veteran point guard is an afterthought in most fantasy leagues given his sporadic usage with the Kings, but he’s capable of heating up for the occasional 20-point effort. He figures to be on the move once the trade deadline rolls around, especially if Sacramento falls out of playoff contention.

Initially listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game, Schröder was upgraded to questionable early Sunday afternoon. He’s now officially good to go, rejoining the Kings after a seven-game absence. His return means that fellow reserve Malik Monk will spend less time on the ball, and Keon Ellis may lose a few minutes.

Schroder was listed as doubtful on Saturday evening, but he’s now got a chance to take the court against the Timberwolves. If he’s available, Schroder could step back into the starting five, shifting Russell Westbrook back to the bench. Malik Monk and Keon Ellis (available) could also see a reduction in playing time.

Schröder has missed Sacramento’s last seven games with a strained right hip flexor and is likely to miss an eighth on Sunday. Russell Westbrook, who took over the starting point guard job when Schröder was healthy, will continue to play most of the minutes at that position, with Malik Monk assuming additional playmaking responsibilities off the bench.

Schröder was initially doubtful for Thursday’s game, so the downgrade in status is unsurprising. While his absence does not affect starter Russell Westbrook, there should be more on-ball opportunities for Malik Monk off the bench. He’s worth rostering in deep leagues, as the Kings will also be without Zach LaVine.

Schröder has missed the last six games with a strained right hip flexor. It’s unlikely that he returns Thursday against the Nuggets given his doubtful listing. Schröder’s eventual return will cut into Russell Westbrook’s minutes significantly.

Monday’s game will be the sixth that Schröder has missed with a strained right hip flexor. Russell Westbrook had already claimed the starting point guard job before Sacramento lost Schröder, so his continued absence affects the bench more. Nique Clifford has seen his playing time increase recently, while Keon Ellis’ role has been inconsistent. Neither is a must-stream in this spot.

Schröder has missed Sacramento’s last five games, most recently playing on November 24. With Russell Westbrook seemingly locked into the starting point guard role, as he replaced Schröder before the injury, rookie Nique Clifford stands to be the player most likely to lose out on minutes if the veteran guard plays.

Schröder has missed Sacramento’s last two games but could return to take on Houston. If he does, Russell Westbrook and Malik Monk will likely lose out on a few minutes, but not enough to decimate the value of either player.

Schröder will miss a second straight game, which didn’t open the door for anyone to take on extra minutes. Malik Monk played most of the reserve guard minutes, but Kings coach Doug Christie just turned to his starters more. Keon Ellis could see a bump in minutes, but he only played seven minutes with Schröder out on Friday.

Schröder will miss a second straight game with a hip injury, which should result in more minutes for Keon Ellis. Ellis’ playing time has been unpredictable this season, making it challenging to rely on him in fantasy basketball.

Schröder was held out of Wednesday’s loss to the Suns, with his absence resulting in more minutes for fellow reserve Keon Ellis. Ellis wasn’t productive enough to impact fantasy basketball, and that’s unlikely to change if Schröder remains out on Friday.

Schröder’s fantasy ceiling has lowered considerably since being replaced in the starting lineup by Russell Westbrook. His absence should free up additional minutes for Keon Ellis, but that is not guaranteed. Fantasy managers should not take the risk of streaming Ellis in this spot.

Schröder has seen his fantasy value decrease since being replaced in the Kings’ starting lineup by Russell Westbrook. If he’s unable to play on Wednesday, there should be additional minutes available to Keon Ellis. However, that is not guaranteed, so there’s no need to commit to Ellis in most leagues.

Having begun the season as Sacramento’s starting point guard, Schröder lost his job on November 14, and the demotion has negatively impacted his fantasy value. However, the veteran guard is capable of having the occasional big night despite coming off the bench. Saturday was an example of that, with Schröder only needing 15 minutes to record one of his best lines of the season. The potential, which was realized on Saturday, is why Schröder is still rostered in 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Schröder followed up Sunday’s 22-point effort with 21 points off the bench against the Thunder on Wednesday. The 32-year-old point guard ended up playing at least 32 minutes in both games. Schröder figures to be worth more to a playoff team than the Kings as the season goes on, but he won’t see as many minutes in a true reserve role.

Schröder came within two points of matching his previous season-high mark in this one. The 32-year-old journeyman guard would make plenty of sense as a trade candidate if Sacramento falls out of playoff contention, but he doesn’t offer much fantasy appeal as a role player off the bench.

Following a fourth straight home loss, Kings coach Doug Christie was clearly frustrated with his squad’s effort and discussed the possibility of making changes to the starting lineup. The lone change was moving Schroder to the bench, and he responded with a strong performance. That was great to see, but a move to the bench is still a bad thing for his upside in fantasy hoops. Schroder has struggled this year and shouldn’t be considered a must-roster player at this point.

Schröder appeared to sprain his left ankle during the second quarter when he stepped on the foot of Minnesota’s Donte DiVincenzo while attempting a layup, with his ankle “rolling” inward instead of out. While Schröder remained in the game, he was a shell of himself from that point onward. And with the Kings beginning Week 4 with a Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back, this may impact Schröder’s availability. Russell Westbrook would be the next man up, and he finished Sunday’s defeat with six points (2-of-7 FGs), one assist, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in 16 minutes off the bench.

Interestingly, both starting point guards in Monday’s game, Schröder and Denver’s Jamal Murray, shot 0-of-5 from beyond the arc. Dennis shot 7-of-9 from two and dished out nine assists, making for a solid night overall. While he hasn’t been much more than a late-round fantasy option for most of his career, Schröder has far exceeded the expectations thus far. He’s rostered in just 40 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and with the Kings playing three more games during Week 3, Schröder is worth a look in some standard leagues.

Dealing with a sore right hip, Schröder is not a lock to play on Monday. Russell Westbrook is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup if he sits. While the promotion would give Westbrook a shot at achieving streaming relevance, his best days as a fantasy option are likely in the rear-view mirror.

After enduring a two-game stretch in which he scored 13 points on 6-of-18 shooting, Schröder snapped out of his mini-slump on Saturday. In addition to the good shooting, he dished out seven assists and finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Rostered in 39 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Schröder has been a top-75 player in nine-cat formats, exceeding his ADP of 129.

Having totaled 10 assists and eight turnovers in Sacramento’s first two games, Schröder had a much cleaner performance on Sunday, even if he didn’t shoot the ball well. Two turnovers countered the 12 assists, and the veteran point guard finished with a complete stat line. Schröder had seven games last season in which he dished out at least 10 assists, so nights like Sunday are unlikely to become the norm. Unfortunately, the Kings don’t have a great Week 2 schedule. Not only does Sacramento play three games, but just one occurs between Thursday and Sunday.
