Sabonis has been out since mid-November with a partially torn meniscus in his left knee. Unfortunately, his most recent re-evaluation has prompted the Kings to rule him out for another four to five weeks, at least. With Drew Eubanks (thumb) also out, fantasy managers should not hesitate to add rookie Maxime Raynaud. Rostered in 16 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been a 12th-round player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks.

Sabonis has been sidelined for almost a month due to a torn meniscus, but the report is that he missed this practice because of an illness. That implies his knee could be better, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for more updates in the coming days. This lines up with the initial three-to-four week re-evaluation timeline, so he could be back soon, which would push Maxime Raynaud to the bench.

Sabonis has a partially torn left meniscus, which has him set to be re-evaluated between Dec. 11 and 18. Drew Eubanks will start in his place for now, with rookie Maxime Raynaud filling out the reserve minutes. Neither is a reliable option, but there will certainly be opportunities. This is a tough blow for a Kings team that has started the season slowly.

Sabonis also missed Wednesday’s game against the Thunder, but there was some hope he would suit up for the second game of the back-to-back. Drew Eubanks and Precious Achiuwa both started on Wednesday, but with Keegan Murray likely back, we’d assume Achiuwa slides to the bench. Neither is relevant in fantasy formats.

Sabonis had been playing through a rib injury, but it’s now his left knee that’s giving him trouble. Drew Eubanks should start in his place, with Precious Achiuwa and Maxime Raynaud filling in a few minutes off the bench. Hopefully this is just a one-game absence for Sabonis, but if he misses more time, Eubanks would be worth adding.

Sabonis, who has been playing through a lingering rib issue, continues to be a double-double machine and one of the league’s premier rebounders, with his 12.3 boards per game ranking fourth in the entire NBA. He recorded his ninth double-double in 11 games this season, but it wasn’t enough as Sacramento allowed San Antonio to shoot 54 percent from the field and dropped its sixth straight contest.

Sabonis is questionable once again, but he has been able to play through the rib injury in four straight games. If something changes, Drew Eubanks should make a return to the starting unit, where he’ll have limited upside as a streaming option.

Sabonis wasn’t able to help the Kings end their losing streak, but he had been struggling over their last few games, so it was good to see him get back on track in this one. After recording a double-double in his first seven games of the season, he had gone two straight without one, though that didn’t continue in this game. He also set a new season-high for scoring. Up next for Sabonis and the Kings is a matchup with the Spurs on Sunday to close out the week.

Sabonis was initially listed as questionable, but he’ll be good to go against Minnesota. Barring a dramatic change by head coach Doug Christie, Sabonis should occupy his typical spot in the starting unit, where he’ll look to bounce back after a disastrous performance by the entire team on Wednesday.

Sabonis is still dealing with a rib injury, but he has played through it the last three games. Despite Kings coach Doug Christie promising to change the starting lineup, Sabonis’ role is likely safe. If he’s unavailable, Maxime Raynaud and Drew Eubanks will take on larger roles.

Sabonis was one of several Kings players to have a rough night on Wednesday against Atlanta. Sabonis’ performance was one of the better, though — he led all starters in scoring and was the only starter to collect multiple steals. Still, he failed to make an impact on the glass, and the overall production was very insignificant for the veteran center, whose scoring has slipped to begin this season.

Initially questionable for Wednesday’s game, Sabonis is officially available. He’ll take on his usual responsibilities as the starting center, with Drew Eubanks remaining with the second unit. There’s no need to stream Eubanks, even though he scored a season-high 19 points on Tuesday.

Sabonis is still playing with a left ribcage contusion and is not guaranteed to play on Wednesday. If Sabonis sits, Drew Eubanks would move into the starting lineup one night after scoring a season-high 19 points. This would mean rotation minutes for Maxime Raynaud, but the rookie is not worth the streaming risk.

Sabonis is doing all he can to fight through the rib contusion that sidelined him for two games last week. On Tuesday, he shared the team lead in scoring with backup Drew Eubanks and grabbed eight rebounds before fouling out. The 26 minutes Sabonis logged were the fewest in a game for him this season; in fact, this was the first game in which he did not hit 30 minutes. While his production has not matched his Yahoo! ADP (18), Sabonis should be fine in the long run. In the short term, those ribs remain a concern, especially with the Kings hosting Atlanta on Wednesday.

Sabonis was initially listed as questionable, but he’ll be good to go for a second straight game. He logged 30 minutes on Sunday and should play a similarly large role against Denver. Drew Eubanks will come off the bench once again.

Sabonis returned to the Kings’ lineup on Sunday after missing two games with a rib contusion, logging 30 minutes in a loss to the Timberwolves. There were moments when he appeared to be fighting through the sore ribs, and he’s back on the injury report for Tuesday night. If Sabonis cannot play on Tuesday, Drew Eubanks will return to the starting lineup.

Sabonis was back on the floor after missing two games with a rib contusion. While there were times when his discomfort was visible, the Kings center played 30 minutes and recorded his seventh double-double in as many appearances. Sabonis struggled from the field on Sunday, as the Timberwolves were able to force him to play in a crowd consistently, but frequent trips to the foul line boosted the final point tally. Also, Sabonis attempted a season-high 17 shots, the second time he’s had at least 15 attempts. That level of activity may be required for Sabonis to meet his lofty Yahoo! ADP of 18. And it could be tough to pull off due to the other scorers in the Kings’ rotation.

Sabonis is back after a two-game absence with a rib injury. Not only does his return push Drew Eubanks to the bench, but it also means Maxime Raynaud and Precious Achiuwa will lose playing time, with one falling out of the rotation entirely.

Sabonis has missed two games in a row for the Kings, and this could be a third. In that scenario, Drew Eubanks will remain in the starting lineup, with Maxime Raynaud and Precious Achiuwa filling out the reserve center minutes.

Sabonis missed Wednesday’s game against Golden State, which allowed Drew Eubanks to get the starting nod in his place. Eubanks should get another start if Sabonis remains out, with Maxime Raynaud and Precious Achiuwa filling out the reserve minutes. If Sabonis is back, he’ll play the majority of the minutes at center.

Sabonis has been downgraded from questionable to out, which opens up a spot in the starting lineup for Drew Eubanks. While he may not be the most enticing streaming option, Eubanks is worth a look in deeper leagues. Maxime Raynaud should pick up additional rotation minutes off the bench, but he isn’t worth the streaming risk.

Sabonis is dealing with a left ribcage contusion, hence his inclusion on the Kings’ initial injury report for Wednesday night. If he’s unable to play, Drew Eubanks will move into the starting lineup. While his fantasy ceiling is limited, Eubanks would be worth a look in deep leagues, especially for managers needing rebounds.

Sabonis has led the NBA in rebounds three consecutive seasons, and a fourth rebounding straight title is a realistic possibility. He grabbed 17 boards against the Nuggets, and the five assists were also valuable for fantasy managers. That will need to be the case moving forward, as Sabonis’ scoring production may slip due to the number of scorers on the perimeter. He’s averaging 14.5 points per game, the lowest for Sabonis since the 2018-19 campaign (14.1 ppg). The decreased scoring and low free-throw percentage are why he’s ranked just outside the top-50 in nine-cat formats.

Sabonis’s fifth double-double in as many games was his first with at least 20 points. The scoring was the big concern for the Kings’ center regarding his fantasy value for the 2025-26 season. While Sabonis had a Yahoo! ADP of 18, there was reason for concern given how his scoring decreased after the Kings acquired Zach LaVine at the February trade deadline. He’s currently ranked just outside the top-75 in nine-cat formats, a slow start in the eyes of many who hoped to recoup first-round value when drafting Sabonis.

Sabonis’ rebounding production remains elite, but that wasn’t expected to be an issue. What should have concerned fantasy managers more than it did, based on his Yahoo! ADP of 18, was the potential hit Sabonis’ scoring and assists could take. Through three games, he’s averaging 10.7 points and 2.3 assists. Between Dennis Schröder, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, at least three other starters operate best with the ball in their hands. It’s early, so all isn’t lost for Sabonis, but this is something that fantasy managers must watch.

Sabonis came up big in the most significant moment of the game on Friday. After being limited to 10 points, Sabonis found himself in the right place at the right time, as he gathered a missed Malik Monk go-ahead shot attempt and put it back in with 6.4 seconds left to give the Kings a one-point lead, and ultimately the victory. He earned his second consecutive double-double along the way and has a chance to secure a third straight on Sunday against the Lakers.

Sabonis only had to miss one game after straining his right hamstring during the preseason. His return to action means Drew Eubanks, who played 22 minutes in Wednesday’s season-opening loss to the Suns, will head back to the bench. Also, rookies Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell will likely see their opportunities decrease after totaling 26 minutes in the opener.

Sabonis was sidelined for the season opener, but it could end up only being a one-game absence for him. Drew Eubanks got the start at center on Wednesday and would likely start again if Sabonis remains out. Eubanks only played 22 minutes, but he had four points, four rebounds, two steals and four blocks.

Sabonis injured his hamstring during Wednesday’s exhibition against the Clippers, exiting during the fourth quarter. He has since been diagnosed with a Grade 1 strain and will be evaluated in one week, meaning the Kings will be without their starting center for at least the first two games of the regular season. Drew Eubanks started Friday’s preseason finale and will likely hold onto that role, with Dario Šarić and rookie Maxime Raynaud providing depth off the bench.
