Slawson’s energy was on full display during Sunday’s game, as he was responsible for multiple goaltending calls on both ends of the floor. He also had an excellent evening from beyond the arc, shooting 5-of-7. All that Slawson’s stat line lacked was a blocked shot, and he played 33 minutes. Given the Pacers’ injuries and where they are in the standings, Slawson should play plenty in the team’s final four games of the season.

After totaling 21 points in his first four appearances, Slawson put up 17 in Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers. However, his productivity in other categories, even before this effort, may have put him on the radar in some deep fantasy leagues. In his first four games, Slawson totaled 16 rebounds, 11 assists, seven steals and five blocked shots, so there was some category-league potential. He recorded a complete line against the Trail Blazers, and Slawson may be worth a look ahead of the Pacers’ four-game Week 22.

Slawson signed a two-way deal with Indiana in February, and this was his second time suiting up for the Pacers. He only played 11 minutes in his debut, but he played 32 minutes in this game and ended up turning in a strong line. The 2023 second-round pick should continue to play a role for Indiana over the rest of the season, but it will likely be too inconsistent for him to be worth rostering, even if he was productive in this one.
