Smith was back in the Bulls’ rotation after a two-game absence, and the playing time wasn’t too far removed from his season average (17.7 mpg). He didn’t shoot the ball well, but the rebounds and blocks will be helpful for deep-league managers who have Smith rostered. The Bulls begin a four-game Week 13 with a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday, so there may be some questions regarding Smith’s availability.

Smith is officially back after a two-game absence. He was in the starting lineup before the injury and could return to that role on Saturday. If Smith starts, Kevin Huerter would come off the bench. Also, Lachlan Olbrich will likely fall out of the rotation entirely.

Smith has missed Chicago’s last two games, but he is expected to make his return to the lineup against Dallas. He had been starting prior to this absence, and Kevin Huerter has filled that spot. Huerter could return to the bench with Smith back.

Smith has missed Chicago’s last two games due to concussion protocols. With Zach Collins also out, Lachlan Olbrich entered the rotation as Nikola Vučević’s backup, but the production to make the rookie a worthwhile streamer was not there. If Smith can play on Saturday, Olbrich will likely fall out of the rotation entirely.

This will now be three straight games that Smith has missed with a concussion. Patrick Williams played 15 minutes on Wednesday with Smith sidelined, and Julian Phillips played 14 minutes. Neither one is really fantasy viable.

Smith entered the league’s concussion protocol after suffering a head injury during Saturday’s loss to the Hornets. His absence will likely mean more minutes for Julian Phillips and Patrick Williams, although neither should be an option for redraft league managers.

Smith was playing well at the time of his injury, as a third-quarter collision with Charlotte’s LaMelo Ball forced him to the sidelines. Following the defeat, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said that Smith has entered the league’s concussion protocol. Chicago returns to action on Monday against the Celtics, the first of four games they’re scheduled to play in Week 12. With Zach Collins (toe) already out, Julian Phillips and Patrick Williams will have opportunities to contribute. That said, neither is worth picking up in fantasy leagues.

There were two open spots in the starting lineup for Chicago with Josh Giddey (hamstring) and Coby White (calf) both set to miss time, and head coach Billy Donovan opted to roll with a two-big starting unit that featured Smith next to Nikola Vucevic. With how well it worked, it would be surprising if Donovan didn’t stick with it, which would make Smith a must-roster player until White or Giddey returns to the lineup. He’s currently rostered in just eight percent of Yahoo! leagues.

With Josh Giddey (hamstring) and Coby White (calf) sidelined for extended periods of time, Jones and Smith will enter the starting unit in the first game without their star guards. Both players will see a nice boost in minutes and production as part of the starting unit.

Smith played 15 minutes off the bench in Friday’s win over the Cavaliers, and he’ll be in line for a similar workload if he can play on Wednesday. If he can’t go, the available minutes will likely be absorbed by Nikola Vučević and Zach Collins.

Smith is back in the Bulls’ rotation after missing five games with a strained left hamstring. He will be limited to 20 minutes, but the presence of starter Nikola Vučević and Zach Collins would have made it difficult for Smith to hit that number without a restriction. Fantasy managers can afford to leave him on the waiver wire.

Smith has missed the last five games with a hamstring injury but will return on Friday. The wrinkle is that Zach Collins (wrist) returned to the court for the first time this season while Smith was sidelined. The two have not played together this season, so it remains to be seen how the minutes will be distributed, but neither player will likely have much fantasy appeal.

Smith has missed Chicago’s last four games with a strained left hamstring, and it will likely be five straight on the sidelines come Sunday. With Zach Collins on track to play, Smith’s absence can be easily accounted for by the Bulls.

This will be a fourth straight absence for Smith, which means the runway is clear for Zach Collins (wrist) to fill the backup center minutes in his season debut. Lachlan Olbrich will be the third option with Smith unavailable.

Smith is on track to miss a fourth consecutive game with a strained left hamstring. Who assumes the backup center minutes depends on the availability of Zach Collins (wrist), who is questionable. If he can’t make his season debut, Lachlan Olbrich will once again take on the responsibility of backing up Nikola Vučević.

Smith will miss a third straight game with a strained left hamstring. With Zach Collins (wrist) also out, the backup center responsibilities will once again fall upon Lachlan Olbrich’s shoulders. This is not a good place to find deep-league fantasy value, as starter Nikola Vučević will play plenty.

Smith has missed the last two games with a strained left hamstring. Zach Collins (wrist) is questionable, and he can absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to Smith in what would be his season debut. Given a likely minutes restriction, there’s no need to consider streaming Collins.

Smith will miss a second straight game, and with Zach Collins doubtful, Chicago will turn to smaller lineups when Nikola Vučević is off the floor. On Saturday, that meant relying on Matas Buzelis and Lachlan Olbrich to fill center minutes.

Smith is dealing with a left hamstring strain. The 25-year-old power forward had six points in 17 minutes against the Hornets on Friday, but is out for Saturday’s matchup with the Pacers. Smith is only worth a look from fantasy managers when Nikola Vučević is out.

The Bulls didn’t have Nikola Vučević (knee) for Monday’s game, but head coach Billy Donovan decided to go small. The experiment of starting Patrick Williams (6/4/2 with two three-pointers) alongside Matas Buzelis lasted one half, as the Bulls gave up 74 first-half points and were bludgeoned on the glass. As a result, Smith replaced Buzelis (10/4/0/0/2 with two three-pointers) in the lineup to begin the third quarter and was solid in his 26 minutes on the floor. Whether Smith is worth a look moving forward will depend on Vučević’s availability and the schedule. Chicago ends Week 6 with a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday against the Hornets and Pacers.

Smith was injured in Monday’s game against the Nuggets and has been listed as probable for the last two games. Once again Friday, the 25-year-old is available. Smith will serve as Nikola Vučević’s backup and thus isn’t worth rostering in standard leagues.

Smith should be available for Friday’s game, serving as Nikola Vučević’s backup. Injured during Monday’s win over the Nuggets, Smith played 12 minutes off the bench in Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers. Expect a similar workload on Friday, and he is not worth rostering in most fantasy leagues given that.

Smith appeared to injure his should during Monday’s game against the Nuggets, but it may have been a pectoral injury that he suffered. He’s still dealing with it, but that isn’t expected to stop him from playing his typical reserve role against Portland.

Smith’s productive night nearly came to a painful end, as he got his arm tangled with Nikola Jokić’s arm while attempting to defend the three-time MVP during the second half. Smith suffered a right shoulder injury and was taken to the locker room for further evaluation. The good news is that he returned to the game, but Smith’s shoulder was wrapped in ice after the game. The Bulls visit Portland on Wednesday in the final game of their road trip, so keep an eye out for that early injury report.

Smith provided a spark off the bench for Chicago as a certifiable one-man wrecking crew, knocking down all four three-point attempts and grabbing double-digit rebounds to notch a double-double in less than 20 minutes. That’ll work. The 25-year-old sharp-shooting big man is averaging 12 points and six rebounds across four games over the past week, which gives him some appeal for fantasy purposes in deeper leagues.

Nikola Vucevic (15 points) was solid, but Smith was more effective on offense in this game while playing just 17 minutes. Smith played 14 minutes in the season opener and missed all seven of his shot attempts. He’ll continue to operate as the primary reserve center behind Vucevic, but it is unlikely that he replicates this level of production often in the future.

Smith was one of seven Bulls players to score in double figures on Thursday. His 24 minutes marked the most of the preseason, which allowed him the opportunity to get up the necessary shot attempts to score in double figures for the first time all preseason. The fifth-year forward was equally as impressive on the defensive end, where he erased several Timberwolves shots at the rim. He’ll likely return to a reserve role when the team is at full strength.

Smith was questionable earlier in the day on Sunday with a headache, but he ended up playing through it and recording a double-double in just 16 minutes. Smith has been the third center option behind Nikola Vucevic and Zach Collins, but Vucevic didn’t play in the second half of this game, which allowed both Smith and Collins (13/4/2) to take on extra minutes. However, while they will still provide some depth, Vucevic will fill out most of the center minutes during the Play-In Tournament.
