While he’s only recorded one 20-point game as a Buck, Turner’s defensive production has been what fantasy managers hoped for. The 6-foot-11 center recorded three steals and three blocks on Sunday, the third time in four games that he’s produced at least five “stocks.” Turner is providing fifth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, and all that’s needed to improve that would be a modest boost to his scoring.

For the first time as a Buck, Turner has recorded a 20-point game. In fact, he entered Friday having surpassed 15 points just once. While he can provide valuable spacing for Giannis Antetokounmpo, that has generally resulted in the “Greek Freak” getting downhill even more and finishing at the basket, rather than a few more catch-and-shoot opportunities for Turner. He was more involved in the offense on Friday, resulting in his best performance of the season thus far.

Turner started his return to Indiana off hot, scoring seven points in the first five minutes. However, he only scored one more bucket over the remainder of the game. Turner has started his Bucks tenure off slowly, but he was able to set a new season-high for swats in this game. He needs to turn things around on offense in order for him to play to his fourth-round ADP in Yahoo! leagues.

Turner’s gotten off to a slow start in Milwaukee, as he entered Thursday averaging just 8.3 points per game. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) unavailable, Turner had his most productive night of the season, recording highs in points and three-pointers. The good news for fantasy managers is that he’s blocked at least two shots in all five games, helping Turner maintain top-100 status in nine-cat formats despite shooting 38 percent from the field.

Turner didn’t have his best night shooting the basketball, but there were signs that his partnership with Giannis Antetokounmpo can benefit both parties. Eight of his 12 shot attempts came from beyond the arc, with the center’s ability to space the floor helping to open up driving lanes for Antetokounmpo. Turner was effective as a defender and facilitator, which are areas where he can be especially valuable to the Bucks this season. He’ll have better nights shooting the basketball.

The big man added six boards, an assist and a block. Turner shot nothing but three-pointers, and he knocked down 5-of-8 while leading Milwaukee in the scoring department. Games like these are what Turner can provide to fantasy managers, though some more rebounds and blocks would be a nice, added touch. He heads into the 2025-26 season as a fringe top-50 pick in fantasy leagues.

Turner played limited minutes in his preseason debut with the Bucks, but displayed the two-way ability that should make him a nice fit alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo. He missed his only three-point attempt and converted on his two looks inside the arc, all while anchoring the middle as a shot blocker. Turner, realistically, should slot in seamlessly and fill the role Brook Lopez occupied in Milwaukee for several years. If he can continue to space the floor well and protect the rim at a high level, he’ll be in for another good season as far as fantasy basketball is concerned.

Whoa. The deal includes a fourth year player option and 15 percent trade kicker, according to Charania. The Bucks were able to pull off a big move here luring the 29-year-old center from the defending Eastern Conference champion Pacers. Turner certainly represents an upgrade for the Bucks, who just lost Brook Lopez to the Clippers on the first day of free agency. With Damian Lillard likely sidelined for all of next year, Turner’s situation from a fantasy perspective is also an upgrade.

All the chips are on the table in a winner-take-all Game 7, and Tyrese Haliburton gets hurt. After a rough series and an even worse Game 6, it was Turner’s time to shine, right? When his team needed him the most, Turner attempted just four shots, hit 1-of-3 triples and 1-of-4 free throws, committed three fouls and finished with no defensive stats. This was a series to forget for the longest-tenured Pacer, and he couldn’t have picked a worse time to have such a dreadful performance.

After attempting at least 10 shots in each of the first four games of the series, Turner only took five in Game 5. While he isn’t going to be a marquee offensive option for the Pacers, they need more from Turner, especially with Tyrese Haliburton (calf) injured. Just as concerning is the three-point shooting. After making two of five attempts in Game 1, Turner is just 3-of-17 from beyond the arc. And he isn’t the only one struggling, with Indiana shooting 37 percent or worse from deep in each of the last four games. The Pacers will need to turn that around if they’re to have a chance of winning Game 6 on Thursday.

While the illness that limited Turner during Thursday’s practice did not land him on the pregame injury report, it’s fair to wonder if the center was still feeling the effects. He missed all six of his three-point attempts in Game 4 and also did not record any steals or blocked shots. By comparison, Turner blocked five shots in Indiana’s Game 3 victory on Wednesday. The Pacers don’t need Turner to be a superstar, but they do need him to be more impactful than he was on Friday. He’ll look to rebound in Game 5 on Monday.

Head coach Rick Carlisle said that Turner had been battling an illness that would potentially prevent him from practicing on Thursday, but it won’t keep him from playing on Friday. He may not be at full strength, but he’ll be out there as Indiana looks to take a 3-1 lead in the series.

Turner finished the Pacers’ win in Game 3 with nine points, two rebounds, one assist and five blocks. His most important block came late in the game on a Chet Holmgren three-point attempt. Despite dealing with an illness and potentially missing practice Thursday, Turner isn’t likely to miss Game 4 on Friday.

Offensively, Turner has gotten off to a solid start in the NBA Finals. After scoring 15 points on 50 percent shooting in Game 1, he put up one more point on a similar percentage Sunday evening. However, Turner only grabbed four rebounds after recording nine in the series opener. Sunday’s defeat does not rest on Turner’s shoulders, but Indiana will need him to be more forceful as a rebounder and defender moving forward. The Pacers host Game 3 on Wednesday night.

Turner has shot 50 percent or better from the field in each of the first three games of the Eastern Conference Finals. He’s also recorded a complete stat line in each game, which has been good news for those competing in playoff fantasy leagues and DFS tournaments. The negative for Turner and the Pacers was that they failed to come up with an answer for Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 20 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. Turner and the Pacers will look to rebound when they host Game 4 on Tuesday.

Turner has struggled with rebounding thus far. That said, he recorded complete stat lines in the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals, which the Pacers lead two games to none. Turner played 33 minutes on Friday, and the gap between him and New York’s Karl-Anthony Towns from a production standpoint was far smaller than in Wednesday’s series opener. Turner and the Pacers will look to take a 3-0 lead when they host Game 3 on Sunday night.

Turner got off to a hot start to this game and contributed 11 points in the first quarter without missing a shot. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to add much after that, and he sat almost the entire fourth quarter before returning for overtime. Though Indiana was able to steal Game 1 on the road, Turner will need to be much better than he was after the first quarter of this game if they hope to advance to the NBA Finals.

For the fourth time in Indiana’s last six games, Turner scored 20 points. This time, it only took him 22 minutes. Turner has been a big part of the offense recently, and the strategy is working; they are 4-0 when he scores at least 20 points during this postseason, and they’re 17-2 over the course of the entire season when he reaches 20 points. Turner will continue to feature heavily in the offense in Game 5 as the Pacers look to close out this series.

While Turner had a decent night in the points and blocked shot categories, the rebounding left something to be desired. Aaron Nesmith (7/7/1 with one three-pointer) and T.J. McConnell (12/6/7) both recorded more rebounds than the Pacers’ starting center, and Indiana gave up 18 offensive boards on the night. That doesn’t all fall on Turner’s shoulders, but Indiana needs him to be more impactful on the glass, especially with Evan Mobley returning in the Cavaliers’ lineup. He’ll look to rebound when the Pacers host Game 4 on Sunday.

While Turner had 23 points on 17 shots in Game 2, his biggest impact came on the defensive end as a rim protector. The 29-year-old center had five blocks and made things difficult on the Cavaliers when they opted to drive into the paint. Turner had an easier time down low on the offensive end with Evan Mobley (ankle) out for Game 2, though he still stepped out and hit two three-pointers. He’ll continue to be counted on a key player for the Pacers as they head home with a 2-0 series lead.

After failing to record a double-double during the Pacers’ first-round series against the Bucks, Turner accomplished that feat on Sunday. He recorded a complete stat line, holding his own against Cleveland’s tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Turner’s rebounds will be key in this series, as will his ability to step away from the basket and hit perimeter shots. Game 2 is on Tuesday night in Cleveland.

Turner tallied at least 20 points for the second time in as many games as the Pacers finished off the Bucks. The sharp-shooting center came up big on the offensive end and finished as Indiana’s second-leading scorer for the game, falling just one rebound shy of a double-double. Turner failed to record a block or a steal but will have another chance to fill up the stat sheet when Indiana heads to Cleveland for a second-round battle with the Cavaliers.

Turner thoroughly outplayed Bucks center Brook Lopez in Game 4, rebounding from a 1-of-9 effort in Indiana’s Game 3 loss on Friday. Impactful on both ends of the floor, Turner’s production was one reason why the Pacers head back home with a 3-1 series lead. Game 5 is on Tuesday, and teams that hold a 3-1 lead have won 95.5 percent of the series in NBA playoff history.

While Turner had just five rebounds in Game 1, he was otherwise excellent. The 29-year-old center was a force on the defensive end with a steal and four blocks. On the offensive end, he was able to make four three-pointers as the Pacers pulled away from the Bucks. Turner vastly outplayed his counterpart Brook Lopez as the Pacers took a one-game advantage in the series.

Turner is on track to play in Sunday’s regular-season finale after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Pacers. His return would push Thomas Bryant to the bench. However, the Pacers’ backup center should still play plenty, as Indiaha has secured the four-seed in the East. Look for Tony Bradley to be in the rotation, even if his playing time is limited during the first half.

Turner did not provide much value as a rebounder, but category league managers will continue to value his points, blocks and three-pointers. The Pacers center has made 10 three-pointers and blocked 11 shots in his last three games, which has made him a third-round player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. For fantasy managers whose leagues will be active, Indiana plays four games during Week 23, starting with the Wizards on Tuesday.

Turner went off for 26 points Friday against the Jazz. It’s the most points the 29-year-old center has had in a game since January 16, when he dropped 28 points on the Pistons. Turner was 9-of-17 from the field including three made three-pointers and got to the foul line eight times and made five free throws. Turner isn’t known for his scoring explosions, though he is a good shooter for a big man. He also impacted the game down low with seven rebounds and six blocks, which was the most he’s had since blocking six shots on February 20 against the Grizzlies.
