Wallace has been one of the league’s most active defenders so far through the first couple of weeks of the season. He notched a season-high in steals on Sunday, which marked the third time this season he’s collected at least four steals in a game. He also made multiple three-pointers and finished Sunday’s contest as one of eight Thunder players to score in double figures. The third-year guard has followed a nice sophomore campaign with a productive start to Year 3.

After missing Friday’s game, Wallace is back in the starting lineup. That will push Aaron Wiggins back to a reserve role, though he should still play plenty of minutes off the bench against the short-handed Hawks.

Initially questionable for Saturday’s game, Wallace is available after missing Thursday’s double-overtime win over the Pacers with a sore knee. He should move back into his usual spot in the starting lineup, especially with the Thunder needing to account for Trae Young. Aaron Wiggins, who started against Indiana, will likely head to the bench. However, his minutes should not take a significant hit since Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe remain out.

Wallace missed Thursday’s game against the Pacers and is now questionable for Saturday’s game against the Hawks. With Isaiah Joe (knee) also out Thursday, Ajay Mitchell played 38 minutes in the double overtime win. Mitchell could be in line for more work if Wallace is out again Saturday.

Wallace was listed as questionable on Wednesday following a double overtime win against the Rockets, but it now appears he will not suit up at all. The Thunder are likely just being overly cautious in their second game of the season, but with Isaiah Joe (knee) out, Ajay Mitchell could be counted on for a bigger role on Thursday. However, Luguentz Dort (ankle) will suit up, so that’s positive news for the Thunder.

The Thunder emerged from Tuesday’s double-overtime win over the Rockets with a lengthy injury report, including Wallace, Luguentz Dort (ankle) and Alex Caruso (concussion) in addition to other key injuries. While Caruso won’t play on Thursday, Wallace and Dort are questionable. More will be required of Aaron Wiggins and Ajay Mitchell, especially with Jalen Williams (wrist) and Isaiah Joe (knee) also out.

Wallace was the choice to start Tuesday’s opener with Jalen Williams (wrist) unavailable, and the third-year guard was effective on both ends of the floor. He finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line and hit a three with 1:32 remaining in double overtime to give Oklahoma City a one-point lead. Wallace finished last season as a top-100 fantasy player, so Tuesday’s production was unsurprising to those familiar with his game. Not only should he be rostered while J-Dub is out, but Wallace will be worth holding onto after the Thunder return to full strength.

The reigning champion Thunder open their season without a key starter, Jalen Williams, who is out with a right wrist injury. His place in the starting lineup will be taken by Wallace, who started 43 of the 68 games he appeared in last season. Wallace was a top-100 fantasy player last season and can provide similar value in 2025-26, even after J-Dub returns.

Wallace averaged just 8.4 points in 27 minutes per game last year. Against the Bucks on Tuesday, he had nine points in 27 minutes. The eight assists were intriguing, though. Wallace averaged just 2.5 assists per game last year in the regular season, though he 3.6 assists per game in 25 minutes per game over five games in the Western Conference finals last year. Maybe Wallace could have more of a playmaking role this year, which would certainly be a boost to his otherwise middling fantasy value. The 21-year-old shooting guard could also see a boost in minutes if Jalen Williams (wrist) is out to begin the season.

So far, the Thunder have used the same starting five for the entire postseason despite changing things up regularly throughout the regular season. However, Wallace will replace Isaiah Hartenstein in the starting unit to give OKC another strong perimeter defender and to match up better with Indiana’s frontcourt. Expect Hartenstein to still play a significant role off the bench.

Outside of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (25 points), the OKC starters struggled on the offensive end. However, Wallace, Aaron Wiggins (11 points) and Alex Caruso (10 points) were able to make up for the struggles of the starting five. Wallace made his presence felt on both ends of the floor to help OKC tie this series back up and retake homecourt advantage. This was Wallace’s best game of the postseason, and he’ll look to remain productive in Game 5 in OKC on Tuesday.

The lone change is Wallace, whose move into the starting lineup means Isaiah Hartenstein will come off the bench. Managers who have Hartenstein rostered should not be too concerned, as his fantasy value should be fine despite being used as a reserve.

Wallace is one of three rotation players unavailable for Tuesday’s game, with Jalen Williams and Aaron Wiggins being the others. Kenrich Williams has moved into the starting lineup but has not been productive enough on most nights to merit being streamed when allowed to start.

Wallace and Wiggins are new additions to the injury report. Isaiah Joe, Alex Caruso, and Kenrich Williams will be among the players most likely to get spot starts if Wallace and Wiggins are ruled out.

Wallace will be back after missing Wednesday’s game against the 76ers. Mark Daigneault hasn’t been shy about switching up his lineups this season, so there is a chance that Wallace comes off the bench. However, the likely scenario is that Wallace starts, which will push Isaiah Joe to the bench.

Wallace missed Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia but will have a chance to return against Charlotte. He should start if he is available, but if Wallace remains sidelined for another game, Isaiah Joe should remain in the starting lineup.

Wallace and Hartenstein started Sunday’s win over the Bucks, playing 34 and 27 minutes, respectively. With the 76ers clearly in “tank mode,” Wednesday’s may be an opportunity for the Thunder to rest its key players. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest) is already out, so Wallace and Hartenstein will have added value if they’re allowed to play. If not, Aaron Wiggins and Chet Holmgren will have higher fantasy ceilings, and the latter is already rostered in all leagues.

With Chet Holmgren and Aaron Wiggins unavailable, Wallace picked a good time for his best scoring output of the season. The second-year guard notched his first 20-point game of the season on 66.7 percent shooting from the field. Add in the rebounds and steals, and this was a good night for the 23 percent of Yahoo! managers who have Wallace rostered. Oklahoma City ends its Week 19 slate with a game in Milwaukee on Sunday.

The Thunder are without Chet Holmgren for Wednesday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Wallace will fill the void, and he and Aaron Wiggins have added fantasy value with Holmgren unavailable. The other four starters are unchanged.

The Thunder didn’t have Chet Holmgren (ankle) on Sunday, but others stepped up, and the team ripped off 146 points in San Antonio. Wallace rose to the challenge, with the 19 points being the most he’s scored in a game this season. Add in the rebounds, assists and three-pointers, and this was an excellent night to have Wallace rostered. Another Thunder player who has added fantasy value when Holmgren is out is Aaron Wiggins, who tallied 17 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and five three-pointers in 24 minutes off the bench. Wiggins is the superior fantasy option, but Wallace is also worth a look in deep leagues.

Wallace was in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in Wednesday’s win over the Nets, with Isaiah Hartenstein heading to the bench. While the second-year guard offered limited production as a starter in Atlanta, he can still be a valuable option in points-punt team builds. As for Hartenstein, he contributed 13 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one blocked shot in 27 minutes off the bench. And he may move into the starting lineup for Oklahoma City’s next game, as Chet Holmgren sprained his ankle during the first half. The Thunder visit the Spurs on Sunday.
