While Williams’s offensive output has been inconsistent recently, the Jazz are likely pleased with his overall production since March 1. Since that date, the second-year forward has averaged 15.5 points per game on 48.5 percent shooting from the field. Williams’ category league value has remained low, but the improved scoring is a positive development. And with the Jazz rotation projected to be considerably stronger in 2026-27, a good finish to this season is essential for Williams.

Williams’ strong end-of-season production continued in the Jazz’s lopsided loss. The second-year guard led Utah in minutes, totaling 38, and was very active in those opportunities. The near 30-point scoring performance on high efficiency stands out, but so does the work he did on the glass. Williams’ balanced production ultimately led him to a second double-double on the season. He should continue to perform well down the stretch.

While his performance did not come in a victory, Williams’ play against the Cavaliers was encouraging after a brutal Saturday night in Phoenix. Two nights removed from throwing up a bagel on 0-of-9 shooting, the second-year forward surpassed 20 points for the fourth time in his last six appearances. Williams’ category league value remains low, but he’s shown some signs of being able to add value in deeper points leagues. The Jazz play three more games in Week 23, starting with the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Two days after scoring 24 points in a loss to Washington, Williams matched that total in this game, though he was even more efficient in this one. Williams has had some strong performances in March, which should give managers some reason for optimism if they’re still stashing in dynasty leagues. However, the start of his career was rough, and it is unlikely this translates into next season, though he should remain productive for the rest of this year.

Monday’s loss to the Raptors was the first game that Williams has missed since January 28, and he looked refreshed against the Wizards. With the Jazz only going eight players deep, the second-year forward had the proverbial green light, and he attempted a team-high 20 shots. Williams was responsible for four turnovers, but the 55 percent shooting from the field and overall line compensates for that.

Williams missed Monday’s game, which allowed John Konchar to get the starting nod in his place. Konchar only played 23 minutes, but that was with Brice Sensabaugh playing 31 minutes off the bench. Sensabaugh is out for Wednesday’s game, so Konchar should take on a larger role if Williams remains out.

Williams is set to miss Monday’s game after what has been a good run of consistent production recently. The second-year forward is averaging 14.1 points per game in March, but more recently, he is scoring 19.6 points per game over his last five appearances. His absence against the Raptors should have fantasy ramifications; John Konchar could see a notable increase in opportunities.

Announced as questionable for Monday’s game due to a sore right shoulder earlier in the day, Williams is now doubtful. If he sits, Blake Hinson could enter the rotation after picking up a DNP-CD in Saturday’s loss to the 76ers. Also, John Konchar could move into the starting lineup after playing 25 minutes the last time out. Fantasy managers should not consider streaming Hinson, but Konchar would be worth a look for deep-league managers in need of steals.

Williams is dealing with right shoulder soreness, and he could be forced to sit out after playing too well for the tanking Jazz. If C-Will is ultimately ruled out, more work could be available for Kennedy Chandler and EJ Harkless.

Williams only scored seven points on six shots in Utah’s loss to Minnesota on Wednesday, but on Sunday, Williams scored a career-best 34 points. This game was more in line with that outing. Williams hasn’t lived up to being a top-10 pick to this point of his career, but he has been productive in March. He may not be able to carry this production over into next season, but he should be a solid option for the remainder of the year.

Williams is precisely the kind of player who, after offering little in the first five months of the season, emerges as a “silly season hero.” A double-digit scorer in six straight games, the second-year forward recorded his first 30-point game on Sunday. Not only was it his first 30-point game, but this was the first time Williams scored 20 in an NBA game. The Jazz don’t play their first game of Week 21 until Wednesday, and Williams will be worth a roll of the dice in deep leagues when the time comes.

A double-digit scorer in each of his last four appearances, Williams’ 19 points on Friday were a career-high. Even with the Jazz playing the Kings on Sunday, the second-year forward is not a must-add. However, for the first time in his NBA career, Williams is worthy of consideration in deep leagues, even if the track record suggests that this four-game run may not be sustainable for him.

After reaching double figures in points for the first time in a month on Thursday, Williams made it two straight games on Saturday. The second-year forward also recorded his first career double-double in Milwaukee, another step in the right direction. Williams isn’t at the point where he can be trusted fully in fantasy basketball, but he is someone worth watching, especially with the Jazz playing four games in Week 20.

Williams missed Wednesday’s game against Golden State, which allowed Svi Mykhailiuk to slide into the starting lineup in his place. With Williams back, Mykhailiuk should return to playing a role off the bench, which will eliminate the little streaming value he held.

Williams did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Warriors, which resulted in Svi Mykhailiuk moving into the starting lineup. Svi may remain in the starting five if Williams can’t play, but he isn’t worth the risk in fantasy leagues, especially after logging 16 minutes on Wednesday.

Williams will not be available after starting Utah’s last 11 games. His absence will likely result in more opportunities for Brice Sensabaugh and Taylor Hendricks, with the former being the far superior fantasy option. Sensabaugh is the only one worth streaming.

Williams is a late addition to the injury report, which is never a good sign for a player’s availability. He’s started 11 straight games, but Williams’ production hasn’t been notable, despite additional opportunities. If Williams is ultimately ruled out, Brice Sensabaugh could see a bump in playing time.

Plus/minus is an imperfect stat, but Williams made the kind of history that no player wants on Saturday. His rating of minus-60 was the worst in league history (spanning 30 years of play-by-play data). He shot the ball relatively well, but the overall production wasn’t there for a player making his second consecutive start. Williams will have more opportunities between now and the end of the season, but he isn’t worth stashing for the “silly season.”

While the Jazz suffered another defeat in their final game of the summer, Williams’ production against the Bulls was positive. Coming off a disappointing rookie season, it’s unsurprising that the 2024 lottery pick would play in all five games in Las Vegas. Whether or not the final performances boost Williams’ confidence ahead of the 2025-26 season remains to be seen. However, given the number of young forwards on the Jazz roster, he won’t be worth the risk in most redraft leagues.

Williams has surpassed 20 points in two straight games, a positive development for a player who struggled mightily as a rookie. However, the perimeter shot remains a work in progress. Williams was 1-of-6 from deep on Sunday, two nights after going 3-of-11 in the loss to the Hornets. He isn’t going to turn into a knockdown shooter overnight. Williams remains a player worth the risk in dynasty leagues, but managers in redraft leagues can afford to leave him on the board.

Williams has been really solid so far in Summer League, which makes this dud of a game less discouraging. He had a poor rookie season, so games like this aren’t what we want to see. However, we’ll cut him some slack on the second night of a back-to-back. Hopefully Williams will be able to bounce back in Las Vegas.

Williams was solid in his first game of Summer League, and he was even better on Monday. The 2024 lottery pick had an atrocious rookie season but was always considered a developmental project. While we may not see him take a giant leap this year, the fact that he is producing well in Summer League is encouraging. He should be better than most of his competition, and he’s playing like it.

Williams was drafted with the No. 10 pick in 2024 as a raw prospect, which led to a terrible rookie year. However, his first game of this summer was an encouraging one. He is nowhere near a finished product, but he was productive. He’s certainly a player to keep tabs on this summer, especially for dynasty managers.

Williams’ underwhelming rookie season is coming to a close. The Colorado product will likely be replaced by a host of wings. Johnny Juzang and Brice Sensabaugh will be among them.
