Williams’ production has not made him a must-roster player with Ja Morant out, but that has more to do with the percentages and turnovers than anything else. Over the past two weeks, he has shot 34.8 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the foul line while averaging 3.0 turnovers per game. As a result, Williams has not been a top-100 player in nine-cat formats. However, that is not the case in eight-cat. Rostered in 24 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he’s worth picking up ahead of Sunday’s game against the Kings.

Less than a week removed from dishing out 15 assists against the Kings, Williams recorded a new career-high in that category on Wednesday. He didn’t do much scoring and was responsible for six turnovers, but the assists, rebounds and “stocks” meant that Williams managers didn’t lose out on value. Rostered in 23 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has provided top-100 fantasy value over the past week. The Grizzlies play two more games during Week 6, and Vince is worth a look with Ja Morant sidelined.

One game removed from recording a career-high 15 assists, Williams posted his first double-double of the season on Saturday. Due to Ja Morant’s injuries, Williams has started four of Memphis’ last five games. During this stretch, he’s only been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats according to Basketball Monster. While that isn’t impressive, the opportunity is what makes Williams worth the streaming risk in deep leagues.

Tuesday’s game was the first for Memphis since losing Ja Morant to a strained calf, and Williams was head coach Tuomas Iisalo’s pick to move into the starting lineup. Result aside, this was a good night for the former second-round pick, who finished two rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double. Williams only committed one turnover in his 30 minutes, which is especially concerning. On the heels of this performance, he’s worth picking up in deep leagues.

As expected, Williams will start in place of Ja Morant, who is set to miss at least two weeks with a calf strain. Williams was really good as a starter two years ago for the Grizzlies but was injured for much of last season. His role this year hasn’t been large, but he should be worth streaming until Morant is back.

Williams started in place of Ja Morant when he missed Wednesday’s game with an ankle injury, and he replaced Morant to start the second half on Saturday after the star point guard exited with a calf injury. Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Javon Small are all dealing with long-term injuries, so the only other point guard on the roster is Cam Spencer. If Morant remains out beyond this game, Williams will hold value as a streaming option.

Williams replaced Ja Morant in the starting lineup on Wednesday and had an up-and-down performance in his 25 minutes. He did well on the glass and flashed some facilitating skills, but shot inefficiently from beyond the arc during the blowout loss. If Morant can’t go on Saturday against the Cavaliers, Williams is likely to remain in the starting lineup. Regardless, he’ll have a chance to improve on Wednesday’s performance.

Memphis will not have Ja Morant for Wednesday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Williams will replace him, although Cam Spencer should also play plenty. Williams’ production when available this season does not make him a must-stream player, but this is a good opportunity for him to show what he can do in a more prominent role.

The Grizzlies accumulated 22 turnovers on the night, with Williams being responsible for five. However, he had a solid night overall, establishing season-highs in rebounds and assists while matching his previous high in points. Rostered in one percent of Yahoo! leagues, Williams has not been productive enough to impact fantasy basketball. Leave him on the waiver wire.

Williams had better production in his second appearance of the season and was one of several Grizzlies players to provide value off the bench against the Raptors on Sunday. In just 21 minutes of action, his efficient shooting and contributions from beyond the arc allowed him to finish as one of Memphis’ top scorers on the evening, while also concluding as one of the team’s better facilitators. As Williams logs more game reps after a heel injury forced him to miss the beginning of the season, there’s a chance his workload and production could increase going forward.

Williams has yet to appear in a game this season, but that may change on Wednesday. While he can provide additional depth on the perimeter, Williams is unlikely to get the run needed to impact fantasy basketball. Leave him on the waiver wire.

Williams will miss a second straight game to start the season. It’s unclear how large of a role Williams will have when he’s healthy, but for now, Cedric Coward will continue to play a significant reserve role.

Unfortunately, Williams’ struggles to stay healthy persist, as he won’t play in Wednesday’s season opener. The Grizzlies wing only appeared in 27 games last season, making five starts. Williams’ absence likely means more minutes for rookie Cedric Coward, who offers a high long-term fantasy upside. Jaylen Wells, who’s in the starting lineup, should see his fantasy ceiling rise, especially with Ja Morant making his first appearance after missing the preseason with a sprained ankle.

V-Dub has missed three straight games due to an illness, but his appearance at practice bodes well for his availability on Tuesday against the Hornets. If he’s able to go, expect him to handle his normal allotment of minutes.

Williams is set to miss his third straight game with an illness. Luke Kennard figures to see additional minutes with Williams out, though with the Grizzlies’ deep rotation of players that doesn’t necessarily make him fantasy-relevant in standard leagues.

Williams’ continued absence means Luke Kennard should play additional minutes off the bench again. However, he logged 22 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors, which is not enough to make an impact in most fantasy leagues.

Williams Jr. was a late addition to the injury report and will now be held out of Tuesday’s game. Luke Kennard and Cam Spencer should take on extra minutes with Williams Jr. out, but only Kennard has streaming appeal.

Williams is available after sitting out Saturday’s win over the Heat, which was Memphis’ second game in as many days. He played 18 minutes off the bench against the Cavaliers on Friday, and fantasy managers should expect a similar workload for Williams. That isn’t enough to make him worth the streaming risk in most leagues.

Williams came off the injured list earlier this week and played 18 minutes in the Grizzlies’ loss to the Cavaliers on Friday. The 24-year-old shooting guard is doubtful for Saturday with a foot injury. GG Jackson could see additional playing time with Williams likely to miss the game.

After starting on Sunday, Williams Jr. missed the second leg of the Grizzlies’ back-to-back on Monday. That allowed GG Jackson to start and for Cam Spencer to play a larger role off the bench. Williams Jr. may replace Jackson in the starting lineup and limit Spencer’s minutes.

Williams dealt with a knee injury that kept him out two weeks ago, but made multiple spot starts with Santi Aldama out last week. Unfortunately, the 24-year-old shooting guard finds himself out again, now with a foot injury. Scotty Pippen Jr. could see increased minutes with Williams out and is likely the better fantasy option anyway.

The Grizzlies were without Santi Aldama (calf) for Sunday’s game, so Williams made his second start of the season. Unfortunately, the third-year wing could not find his shot. Scotty Pippen Jr. (12/6/2/2/1 with two three-pointers) provided greater value off the bench despite Ja Morant being available. The Grizzlies take on the Suns on Monday night, so Williams may return to the bench.

The Grizzlies are without Santi Aldama, who is dealing with a calf injury, meaning another replacement is needed to fill the void initially left by Jaren Jackson Jr. Williams receives the nod, but GG Jackson should also figure more prominently in the rotation.

With Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) and Santi Aldama (calf) unavailable, Williams was tabbed to make his first start of the season on Wednesday. He didn’t have the best night, but the Grizzlies wing scored in double figures for the third time this season. Williams’ streaming staying power depends on the health of Jackson and Aldama, with the former considered week-to-week and the latter day-to-day. Wednesday’s performance wasn’t good enough to make Williams a must-add, but deep-league managers should watch for the injury report ahead of Friday’s game against the Mavericks.

Morant returns to action after missing two games with a shoulder injury, which pushes Luke Kennard to the bench. The other notable change is Williams, who steps into the void left by the injured Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle). While a risky streaming option, Vince is worth a look in deep leagues.

Williams and Clarke are back after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Spurs. The returns give Memphis a welcome infusion of depth off the bench, even if neither player significantly impacts fantasy basketball.
