Yabusele (shoulder) injured his left shoulder during Thursday’s win over the Wizards. Between New York and Chicago, he appeared in 67 games this season, with his playing time increasing significantly after being traded to the Bulls. However, to make the deal happen, Yabusele had to waive his player option for the 2026-27 season. He’ll be a free agent in the summer, and landing a role where he would be able to affect fantasy basketball could prove challenging.

Yabsuele suffered a sprained left shoulder during Thursday’s game, ending his night after 16 minutes of play. He finished with five points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer. Yabusele’s absence frees up additional minutes for Patrick Williams and Lachlan Olbrich.

Yabusele scored the ball well against Indiana. The veteran forward connected on half of his field goal attempts, added a couple of three-pointers, and did a decent job on the glass across his 25 minutes of game play. Yabusele has now scored in double figures in four of his past five games, including two straight. He’ll have an opportunity to extend the streak to three games on Friday against the Knicks.

With Nick Richards (elbow) once again out, Yabusele is in line to remain the Bulls’ starting center on Wednesday. While the opportunity is good, his production has not been enough to make Yabusele a must-stream player. Leonard Miller offers greater upside despite coming off the bench.

Yabusele played through the ankle injury on Monday and started with Nick Richards (elbow) out. Both are questionable, so if they are both sidelined, Leonard Miller should step into a starting role, as he did on Saturday.

After playing Saturday’s game without a legitimate center, the Bulls will have Yabusele for Monday’s matchup with the Spurs. While the opportunity raises his fantasy ceiling, this is a challenging matchup for Yabusele. Leonard Miller heads to the bench, but he should still play plenty.

Yabusele will return from a one-game absence to face a red-hot Spurs team that’s won eight games in a row. Since being traded to the Bulls, Yabusele has played a much larger role than he did previously with the Knicks. He likely won’t be a difference-maker from a fantasy standpoint, but he’s a capable double-double threat nonetheless.

After replacing the injured Nick Richards (elbow) in the starting lineup for Friday’s loss to the Thunder, Yabusele did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies. Leonard Miller was the starting center, something the Bulls could get away with due to Memphis’ frontcourt injury woes. They won’t be as fortunate on Monday because of San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama.

Yabusele started Friday’s loss to the Thunder but only played 22 minutes. With Nick Richards also out, Leonard Miller and Patrick Williams are likely to benefit most in terms of playing time. Lachlan Olbrich could move into the rotation out of necessity, but he is not worth streaming.

The Bulls are without Jalen Smith and Nick Richards for Friday’s game, with the former done for the season. Yabusele moves into the starting lineup, which raises his fantasy ceiling. However, this is a challenging matchup for him, even with the Thunder not having Chet Holmgren.

Yabusele is good to go after being listed as questionable on the Bulls’ initial injury report. With Nick Richards (elbow) out and Jalen Smith (calf) done for the season, Yabusele may move into the starting lineup. If not, Patrick Williams could be the choice to fill the void left by Smith.

Yabusele missed Monday’s win over the Rockets. Nick Richards started and had 11 points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes. Richards will likely head back to the bench with Yabusele and Isaac Okoro available to return Wednesday against the 76ers.

Yabusele missed Monday’s game, which opened the door for Nick Richards to take on extra minutes. Richards, who has started Chicago’s last two games, will likely head to the bench and play a much smaller role if Yabusele and Isaac Okoro (knee) both return.

Chicago’s frontcourt remains thin due to numerous injuries, and Nick Richards, Lachlan Olbrich and Leonard Miller should continue to see increased run until Yabusele and Okoro return. Jalen Smith should be front and center.

Yabusele is dealing with a sprained left ankle, and the doubtful tag suggests that he’s closer to not playing on Monday than being available. With Jalen Smith (calf) questionable, the Bulls could be in a position where they have to rely on Nick Richards and Lachlan Olbrich at the center position.

Yabusele and Williams were initially listed as questionable for Friday’s game after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Lakers. Williams has missed six of the Bulls’ last seven games, so his playing time may be limited on Friday. As for Yabusele, a return to the starting lineup may be in the cards, as Jalen Smith (calf) is out.

Downgraded to doubtful on Thursday afternoon, Yabusele is officially out. His absence means more playing time for Nick Richards, who could move into the starting lineup. Richards is worth the streaming risk in deep leagues due to the double-double potential.

Yabusele is dealing with a sore left foot. While the production has tailed off recently, he has done enough to remain in the Bulls’ starting lineup. Isaac Okoro (knee) may be able to return; if so, he could fill the void if Yabusele can’t play, which pushes Jalen Smith to the five.

Since being traded to the Bulls, Yabusele has reached double figures in scoring in nine of the 12 games he’s played. As a Bull, the rugged forward has averaged 11.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.3 three-pointers. Shooting 41.7 percent from the field hasn’t done Yabusele any favors in terms of fantasy value, but at least he’s getting consistent minutes in Chicago.

Yabusele has started all but two games since joining Chicago, and this was his third double-double during that stretch, as well as a new season high for scoring. As long as he continues to start, Yabusele will continue to be a strong option for fantasy managers. Jalen Smith (calf) still being sidelined has resulted in extra minutes for Yabusele, which has allowed him to average 11.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 triples per game as a Bull.

Playing against the Knicks for the first time since being traded at the deadline, Yabusele was productive in his 30 minutes on the floor. Shooting 50 percent from the field, the 6-foot-8 forward recorded his second double-double since joining the Bulls. And with Jalen Smith (calf) exiting Sunday’s game halfway through the third quarter and not returning, Yabusele and Nick Richards (nine points, 13 rebounds and one blocked shot) stand to play more if Smith misses time. The Bulls play three games in Week 18, starting with the Hornets on Tuesday.

Yabusele fell one board shy of a double-double and dished out eight helpers as a starter in this one. He’s played nearly 25 minute per-game in six contests since coming over from the Knicks earlier this month. The 30-year-old center offers minimal fantasy appeal but should continue to play consistently for the rebuilding Bulls over the final few weeks of the season.

The Bulls lost Jalen Smith to a calf strain during Thursday’s loss to the Raptors, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Yabusele, who recorded a double-double in his Bulls’ debut in Toronto, moves into the starting lineup. Nick Richards, who is making his Bulls’ debut, should slide into the backup center role.

After failing to crack the Knicks’ rotation on most nights, Yabusele appears to have a new lease on life in Chicago. While he did come off the bench in his Bulls’ debut, the 6-foot-8 forward logged 33 minutes and recorded his first double-double of the season. Expecting Yabusele to make nights like Thursday the norm after one performance would be unrealistic. However, given the role and Chicago’s lack of healthy frontcourt players, he’s worth taking a flier on.

Signed to a two-year deal last summer with a player option for the 2026-27 season, Yabusele’s fit with the Knicks was awkward. While he began the season playing rotation minutes, his playing time decreased from December onward. As was the case in New York, consistent playing time won’t be guaranteed in Chicago, even with the Bulls’ lack of interior depth. Yabusele’s move does not affect fantasy basketball.
