Absent from the Heat’s initial injury report, Adebayo has been added due to right calf tightness. If he’s unable to play, Simone Fontecchio could move into the starting lineup, with Kel’el Ware serving as the lone big.

Wiggins will miss a sixth consecutive game, with Kel’el Ware having started the last two. Starting alongside Bam Adebayo raises the second-year center’s ceiling, and he’s already rostered in most 12-team leagues. Managers in 10-team leagues should consider adding Ware if he’s on the waiver wire.

Jović is on track to play on Tuesday, which would be his first game action since February 20. Even with Andrew Wiggins (toe) sidelined, the minutes that Jović needs to achieve fantasy relevance are unlikely to be there. Leave him on the waiver wire.

Larsson is dealing with a left elbow contusion, but the probable tag suggests that he will be available for Tuesday’s game. With Andrew Wiggins (toe) still out, the second-year wing should remain in the starting lineup.

On a night when Tyler Herro (10/6/5 with one block and two three-pointers) struggled in his first game back from an injury, Jaquez did his best to compensate. He scored seven points in the fourth quarter, but the Heat’s late rally fell four points short. While Jaquez’s fantasy value has not been good enough to make him a must-roster player in all leagues, he’s worth holding onto in 12-team category leagues.

Powell returned to action after missing seven games with a groin injury, and he was used in a reserve role. However, he played 31 minutes and put up a respectable stat line. The Heat are off until Tuesday, and that may be when Powell returns to the starting lineup. If so, Kel’el Ware may be the player most likely headed to the bench.

Ware made a second consecutive start on Saturday, as the Heat remained without Andrew Wiggins (toe). The second-year center reached double digits in rebounds for the second straight game, and the double-double was his 22nd of the season. Add in the defensive stats, and this was a good night for managers who have Ware on their fantasy rosters. However, with Norman Powell (groin) returning on Saturday, Ware could head back to the bench as soon as Tuesday’s game against the Hornets.

Bam was bound to cool off after dropping 83 points on Tuesday, but putting up 20-plus in consecutive games is nothing to scoff at. The Heat center has scored at least 20 points in nine straight games, and he’s been a third-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. The Heat play three games in Week 21, starting with the Hornets on Tuesday.

Not long after he was added to the injury report due to left hip tightness, Jaquez has been upgraded to available. He’ll take on his usual role off the bench, where he has provided enough value to merit rostering in 12-team leagues.

Herro is back after sitting out the last two games with a quad injury, and his return pushes Kasparas Jakučionis to the bench. Also of note is Norman Powell coming off the bench in his return from a back injury, leaving Larsson in the starting lineup.

Absent from the initial injury report, Jaquez developed tightness in his left hip after the team’s pregame walkthrough. If he’s unable to play, the Heat will rely more on Simone Fontecchio and Pelle Larsson.

Wiggins has missed Miami’s last four games with a toe injury, and Saturday’s game will be the fifth. While Myron Gardner had been the replacement in the starting lineup, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra called on Kel’el Ware to fill the void in Thursday’s win over the Bucks.

While Herro has missed Miami’s last two games, Powell has been absent for the last seven. For Thursday’s win over the Bucks, the Heat called on Kasparas Jakučionis and Pelle Larsson to move into the starting lineup, with the former scoring 18 points. If Powell and Herro play, Jakučionis and Larsson will come off the bench.

Jakučionis started a second straight game with Tyler Herro (quad) sidelined, and this outing was far more productive than the first. He set a new career high for rebounds and had one of his most effective scoring nights of the season. Jakučionis clearly has plenty of talent and is only 19 years old, making him a valuable asset in dynasty leagues. However, his lack of consistent minutes makes him a difficult player to roster in standard leagues.

The second-year guard has been a starter for most of the season for Miami, but he hasn’t been a consistent fantasy contributor. However, he was productive in this game and ended up setting a new career high for scoring while still contributing in other categories. The former second-round pick should continue to play big minutes, but he won’t offer enough in the box score to be worth rostering in most formats.

Well, it wasn’t exactly an encore. Two days after finishing with 83 points, the second-most in a game in NBA history, Adebayo struggled from the floor and finished with a quarter of his total points from the win over the Wizards. Though he was able to get to the free throw line at a decent rate, he wasn’t able to replicate his 43 attempts from Tuesday’s game. He was still able to extend his streak of 20 point games to eight in a row.

Ware missed Tuesday’s record-setting game against the Wizards in which Bam Adebayo scored 83 points. It appears that Ware will return for this one and go back to his role with around 26-30 minutes per game. With Tyler Herro (quad/illness) questionable, Ware could be in for a bit of a bigger usage day if Herro does miss.

The impact of Ware’s absence on Tuesday may have been slightly skewed by Bam Adebayo going off for 83 points, as Miami’s starting center played 42 minutes. If Ware remains out, the Heat will likely have to go small a bit more often than they did against the Wizards.

At the time of his injury in late February, Powell was considered to be week-to-week. Pelle Larsson has moved into the starting lineup, but he has not been productive enough to merit rostering in most fantasy leagues. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Simone Fontecchio are superior streaming options where available.

Jović has not appeared in a game since February 20, with the Heat labeling his injury as lower back injury management. Simone Fontecchio and Jaime Jaquez Jr. are available to absorb the minutes that would usually go to Jović, whose absence does not affect fantasy basketball.

The Heat have won six straight games, and Mitchell’s improvements as a playmaker is one of the reasons for the team’s surgery. During the streak, he has totaled 29 assists and five turnovers. Mitchell may not provide elite scoring, but the improved efficiency and defensive ability have given his fantasy value a welcome boost. The Heat play two more games in Week 20, starting with the Bucks on Thursday.

It’s unlikely to become a trivia question in the future, but Fontecchio was Miami’s second-leading scorer on a night when Bam Adebayo dropped a franchise-record 83 points. Fontecchio shot 3-of-4 from beyond the arc, and the 18 points were the most in a game for him since hitting that number in a February 3 loss to the Hawks. In fact, Fontecchio’s 18 points matched his total from his prior five appearances.

Adebayo’s night was absurd, and it didn’t take long to realize that he was capable of doing something special. He scored 31 points in the first quarter and went into the halftime break with 43, with both accomplishments being franchise records. And despite holding a commanding lead throughout, the Heat didn’t pull Adebayo until late in the fourth, allowing him to put up the second-highest single-game point total in NBA history. He also set league records for free throws made and attempted, and became the first player to attempt at least 22 three-pointers and 30 free throws in the same game.

Already without Andrew Wiggins, the Heat will also be without Tyler Herro for Tuesday’s game. As a result, Jakučionis moves into the starting lineup, but he has offered limited fantasy value on most nights when allowed to start.
