Jaquez has scored at least 20 points in seven games this season after enjoying two such games during the entire 2024-25 campaign. The 27 points scored against the Kings were the most for him since November 2, when he dropped a season-high 31 on the Lakers. With the Heat getting closer to full strength recently (Tyler Herro and Davion Mitchell did not play on Saturday), Jaquez’s fantasy value has taken a hit. However, that has been due to lackluster defensive production, despite the offensive numbers being there.

On a night when the Heat were without Tyler Herro and most of the starting lineup struggled, Fontecchio had his most productive night of the season. He hit the 20-point mark for the first time this season, and the four three-pointers were the most in a game for Fontecchio since November 17. A bonus for the few who have him rostered was the seven rebounds. However, for as well as he played, Fontecchio still hasn’t reached the point where he can be relied on for consistent fantasy value.

The Heat starters struggled on Saturday, with Powell and Andrew Wiggins (13/4/4 with one three-pointer) being the only ones in double figures. And while the former offered solid production in points and percentages, his production outside of those categories was meager. Powell is still providing top-50 fantasy value, so managers have little to worry about going into Week 8. The Heat visit Orlando on Tuesday in an NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup, with the winner heading to Las Vegas.

Powell is good to go after being considered probable on the initial injury report. With Tyler Herro and Pelle Larsson out, he will figure prominently in the Heat rotation as a starter.

With Larsson unavailable, Kel’el Ware should remain in the starting lineup alongside Bam Adebayo. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, Ware should be rostered in most fantasy leagues.

Herro will miss a second straight game as he continues to recover from a toe injury. Norman Powell will once again shoulder a heavy workload for the Heat, who will also be without Pelle Larsson.

Mitchell is dealing with groin tightness and will not play on Saturday. Dru Smith will fill the resulting void in the starting lineup. With Tyler Herro also out, Smith is worthy of streaming consideration in deep leagues.

Mitchell’s groin injury is new compared to the rest of the injuries the Heat are dealing with. With Mitchell, Tyler Herro (toe) and Pelle Larsson all on the injury report as questionable at best, Jaime Jaquez Jr. could end up starting and is worth streaming.

Larsson would likely be in line for another start Saturday with Tyler Herro (toe) doubtful, but he’s questionable himself with a hip injury. The 24-year-old shooting guard has just nine points over his last three contests and isn’t worth rostering in most fantasy leagues.

Powell missed Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks, but returned Friday against the Magic and had 28 points. With Tyler Herro (toe) doubtful, Powell will have the reigns of the Heat offense once again Saturday against the Kings.

Herro missed Friday’s game against the Magic with a toe injury and is now doubtful for Saturday against the Kings. If the 25-year-old point guard is out again, Pelle Larsson will start while Norman Powell and Jaime Jaquez Jr. see a boost in fantasy value.

Powell dropped 28 points with Tyler Herro (toe) out against the Magic on Friday. The 32-year-old shooting guard took on another big time scoring role, though both players’ fantasy values should be fine when both are healthy.

Powell will replace Tyler Herro (toe) in the starting lineup, so the main change here is Ware replacing Pelle Larsson in the starting unit. Larsson had started the last game with Powell out but won’t hold much value as a reserve. Ware should be in for a big night as a starter.

Powell is set to return on Friday against the Magic after missing Wednesday’s loss against the Mavericks. With Tyler Herro (toe) listed as doubtful, Powell is in line to run the offense for the Heat. Pelle Larsson will likely return to the bench with Powell back.

Herro was initially listed as questionable, but was downgraded to doubtful and is unlikely to play against the Magic on Friday. If the 25-year-old point guard is ultimately ruled out, Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. will see extra minutes. Norman Powell would also see a boost in fantasy value without Herro.

Powell did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Mavericks, resulting in Pelle Larsson making the start. However, he struggled and only played 23 minutes. If Powell remains out, Larsson would only be worth a look in deep leagues if Tyler Herro (toe) is also sidelined. He’s considered questionable for Friday.

Herro is dealing with irritation in his right big toe, hence his appearance on the injury report. If he’s unable to play, Norman Powell (ankle) could fill the void, but he is also questionable for Friday night. Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. would also be in line to provide added fantasy value if Herro and Powell can’t play.

Ware’s performance in Dallas was the most recent example that he does not need to start to provide reliable fantasy value. And it was a game that he needed after going scoreless and playing just 16 minutes in Monday’s win over the Clippers. Ware recorded his ninth double-double of the season, and he’s had one in all four games that he’s managed to score at least 20 points. Even with the poor effort against the Clippers, the second-year center has been a top-30 player in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks.

Since making his season debut on November 24, Herro has scored at least 20 points in all five games. Averaging 23.8 points on 52.4 percent shooting from the field, he has provided top-25 value in nine-cat formats. Herro’s production is a round worse in eight-cat, but fantasy managers aren’t likely to lose any sleep over that. Miami did not have Norman Powell (ankle) on Wednesday, but he has played three of the five games that Herro has been available for. As long as they can stay healthy, both players’ fantasy values should be fine.

Adebayo was one of three Heat players to score at least 20 points on Wednesday, and he’s met or exceeded that number in consecutive games for the first time since late October. Since returning from a toe injury that sidelined him for six games, the Heat center/forward has provided fourth-round value in eight-cat formats. When Miami is whole, which they weren’t on Wednesday (Norman Powell was out), Bam’s ceiling as a scorer may be lower. However, he’s still capable of providing excellent value given his overall skill set.

Larsson suffered a sprained right foot during Monday’s win over the Clippers, but he is healthy enough to play and start in Dallas. Norman Powell (ankle) is out despite the Heat listing him as active, which means Larsson will start after coming off the bench on Monday.

Larsson left the first half of Monday’s game against the Clippers with a sprained right foot. The good news is the 24-year-old shooting guard won’t miss more time due to injury. Larsson could even see additional minutes with Norman Powell (ankle) out Wednesday.

Powell has been downgraded after initially being listed as questionable. Pelle Larsson started in place of Powell during his previous absence, though Jaime Jaquez Jr. should see the biggest boost in minutes.

This is a new injury for Powell, so fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status ahead of Wednesday’s tip-off with Dallas. If Powell is sidelined, more minutes will be available for Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jovic.

Adebayo did a little bit of everything in this game. He matched his season high for rebounds and set a new career high for three-pointers in the blowout win over the Clippers. This was his highest scoring output since October, but he has been a consistent source of offense for Miami. Adebayo has been a big reason for Miami’s success this season, and he’ll look to keep that going in Dallas on Wednesday.

Things couldn’t have gone much better for Mitchell. He had a pair of turnovers, but he didn’t miss a shot, and he recorded his third double-double of the season. This was also his fifth game with at least 10 assists, including his second straight. Having Tyler Herro back hasn’t taken away from Mitchell. The Heat play faster than anyone in the league, which allows everyone to thrive. Mitchell has been inconsistent, but he remains a player worth rostering in deeper leagues.

Playing against his former team, Powell was able to have a big night to help the Heat get back on track after losing to the Pistons on Saturday. Powell has shined in his first year with Miami, and the return of Tyler Herro hasn’t slowed him down. He’ll look to stay hot in Dallas on Wednesday in what will be the second game of a four-game week.

Larsson suffered a sprained right foot during the first half of Monday’s game. While the Heat have the depth needed to account for his absence if the second-year wing misses time, this is an injury that could keep Larsson out for multiple games. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Simone Fontecchio may be the ones who absorb the minutes that would have gone to Larsson.

Jaquez Jr. sat out Saturday’s loss to the Pistons, but he’s on track to return following a one-game absence. Fewer minutes will be available for Simone Fontecchio and Nikola Jovic if Jaquez Jr. is ultimately cleared to take the court.
