Added to the injury report Sunday afternoon, Williams will not be able to play. With Donovan Clingan (leg) also out, the Trail Blazers will be without their top two centers. Duop Reath and Yang Hansen will have to do the heavy lifting in Memphis.

Clingan will miss a second straight game as he continues to recover from a left lower leg contusion. With Robert Williams III (illness) also out, the Trail Blazers will have to rely on Duop Reath and Yang Hansen to fill the void at the center position. While neither is a great streaming option, the chosen starter will be worth a look in deep leagues.

Williams is a late addition to the injury report, and that’s typically not a good sign for a player’s availability. With Donovan Clingan (leg) questionable, Portland could give additional minutes to Duop Reath and Yang Hansen if both Williams and Clingan end up sidelined.

Holiday’s continued absence means Deni Avdija will remain the primary playmaker for the Trail Blazers. Already rostered in most leagues, Avdija boasts an even higher fantasy ceiling with Holiday unavailable.

Clingan did not play in Friday’s loss to the Pistons, allowing Robert Williams to start and play 30 minutes. That would likely be Portland’s approach if Clingan can’t play on Sunday, making the Time Lord a worthwhile streamer. Also, Yang Hansen has been called up from the G League for added depth.

Avdija was just one rebound and three assists shy of a triple-double. The 24-year-old small forward led the way with 35 points, though Jerami Grant had 29 points and Shaedon Sharpe had 28 points. For the season, Avdija is providing third-round fantasy value.

Williams will be available off the bench after missing Wednesday’s game, which was the second of a back-to-back. With Donovan Clingan (leg) sidelined, Williams’ role becomes more important, but they won’t increase his minutes by much.

Murray will be back after missing Wednesday’s game against Cleveland. However, Donovan Clingan (leg) is out. Murray started in place of Clingan the last time he missed a game, which could happen again. Regardless, Murray should at least see a bump in minutes.

The last time Clingan was unavailable, Kris Murray got the start in his place. That may not be an optimal strategy against Jalen Duren and Detroit, but it could happen. The other option would likely be Duop Reath, though Robert Williams will play an important role off the bench regardless.

Williams was not made available for Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers, as it was the second game in as many nights for the Trail Blazers. If he can play on Friday, Duop Reath would be the player most impacted after he logged 11 minutes on Wednesday. There’s no need to roster Reath, regardless of Williams’ availability.

Murray did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers, resulting in more playing time for Caleb Love. The rookie guard played 27 minutes on Wednesday and scored 20 points. If Murray remains out, Love would be worth a roll of the dice in extremely deep leagues.

Clingan, who was injured during Tuesday’s loss to the Raptors, started and logged 25 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers. The second-year center’s playing time could be limited on Friday, with Duop Reath sliding into the backup role if Robert Williams III cannot play. Portland has already ruled out Yang Hansen, as he has joined the team’s G League affiliate. Reath or Williams will only be worth streaming if Clingan can’t play.

Love gave the Trail Blazers good minutes off the bench, recording his second 20-point game of the season. He took advantage of Kris Murray’s absence, and Wednesday’s performance could be another step towards showing franchise decision-makers that he’s worthy of a standard contract. While Love shouldn’t be rostered in redraft leagues, managers competing in dynasty formats should consider him as the Trail Blazers await the return of Jrue Holiday.

While Sharpe once again came off the bench, the fact that he was able to play both games of Portland’s first back-to-back since missing four games due to injury was encouraging. The athletic wing was productive in his 31 minutes, finishing a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Sidy Cissoko, who has been the starter, played well in Cleveland, finishing with 11 points, four rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer in 25 minutes. Even with the run of starts, he is not at a point where he needs to be rostered in fantasy leagues.

With the NBA changing the format of the All-Star Game, it may be time to discuss Avdija’s chances of making his first career appearance. The Trail Blazers wing continues to shoulder most of the playmaking workload as Jrue Holiday (calf) remains sidelined, and he’s enjoying the most productive season of his NBA career. For the season, Avdija is providing third-round value in eight-cat formats, two rounds better than his Yahoo! ADP. Portland continues its road trip in Detroit on Friday.

Murray’s production does not affect fantasy basketball when he’s available. His absence will free up some minutes for Caleb Love and Rayan Rupert, with the former offering a higher offensive ceiling. However, neither player is worth streaming as Portland will have its expected starting five available.

Avdija has been upgraded from questionable to available for Wednesday’s game. With Jrue Holiday still out, he will continue to run the show offensively, which raises Avdija’s fantasy ceiling. While turnovers can be an issue, the overall production makes up for them.

Clingan is good to go after taking a knee to his left leg during Tuesday’s loss to the Raptors. He will take on his usual role as the Trail Blazers’ starting center, with Yang Hansen slotting into the backup role with Robert Williams III out.

Avdija’s potential absence on the second night of a back-to-back would open up a ton of minutes and a starting spot. Shaedon Sharpe would likely move back into the starting lineup, while Caleb Love and Rayan Rupert could take on larger roles off the bench, though neither would play enough to be worth streaming in standard leagues.

Murray’s status for Wednesday’s game could have a larger impact than it typically would. Donovan Clingan (leg) is also questionable, and Murray started when Clingan last missed a game. With Robert Williams (knee) out, Murray’s status will be the main factor for deciding if Duop Reath and Yang Hansen will be part of the rotation for this game.

Clingan could be unavailable for the second night of this back-to-back. Kris Murray started during Clingan’s last absence, but he is questionable with a hip contusion. If both are out, Yang Hansen and Duop Reath would occupy the center minutes, though in a matchup with Evan Mobley, that wouldn’t make either ideal streaming targets.

Unsurprisingly, Williams will sit out the second leg of Portland’s back-to-back. Donovan Clingan (leg) is questionable, and with Williams unavailable, Duop Reath and Yang Hansen are candidates to be part of the rotation. Kris Murray started in a smaller lineup during Clingan’s last absence, and he should see a bump in minutes regardless of Clingan’s status.

Since scoring five points and missing all eight of his field-goal attempts in a November 21 win over the Warriors, Grant has reached double figures in five straight games. His season-long fantasy value has continued to exceed expectations, with the forward ranked within the top-100 in eight-cat formats. While rebounding remains an issue for Grant, the percentages have been solid, as has the defensive production.

With Sharpe recently returning to action after missing four games with a strained right calf, there has been some concern about his playing time. Despite coming off the bench again, he logged 30 minutes against the Raptors. That may be a sign that he’s ready to return to the starting lineup soon. However, with the Trail Blazers playing the Cavaliers on Wednesday, a night off may be in the cards for Sharpe. Sidy Cissoko (three points, two rebounds and one three-pointer in 22 minutes) continues to start, but he has not been productive enough to impact fantasy basketball.

One game removed from recording his second triple-double of the season, Avdija posted his seventh double-double on Tuesday. Since Portland lost Jrue Holiday to a calf injury, the versatile forward has been close to a top-50 player in eight-cat formats. Avdija is just outside the top-100 in nine-cat during this stretch, due mainly to an average of 3.8 turnovers per game. However, when Deni dishes out assists at the rate he did on Tuesday, fantasy managers aren’t going to lose sleep over a few turnovers.

Camara hit four first-quarter triples and finished with six, establishing a new high for three-pointers in a game. Over his last two outings, the third-year forward is 11-of-22 from beyond the arc. Camara’s season-long fantasy value hasn’t been great, due in part to his shooting 41.3 percent from the field, but he’s made 44.4 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks.

Clingan is back in the Trail Blazers’ starting lineup after missing Sunday’s loss to the Thunder due to illness. As a result, Kris Murray will come off the bench, where he offers a considerably lower ceiling. Murray should only be rostered in dynasty leagues.

Clingan will be back after a one-game absence, which will push Kris Murray to the bench. Robert Williams, who has played well recently, may lose out on a few minutes with Clingan back, but he had been productive in limited minutes anyway. Clingan’s return shouldn’t negatively impact Williams by much.

With Clingan unavailable, the Trail Blazers began Sunday’s loss to the Thunder with a smaller lineup. Kris Murray joined the starters and played 35 minutes, with Robert Williams getting 19 minutes off the bench. If Toronto’s Jakob Poeltl is available for Tuesday’s matchup, that could be a spot where Williams receives the starting nod if Clingan can’t play. However, that isn’t guaranteed, and the Time Lord’s minutes are still being restricted due to his injury history.

With Donovan Clingan sidelined with an illness, Avdija practically filled in as the starting center. He fell one rebound shy of matching his career high for rebounds, but he was still able to record the fourth triple-double of his career. Avdija is enjoying a phenomenal breakout season and will continue to be an elite option in fantasy basketball, even if the lack of defensive stats and subpar shooting percentages have slightly limited him.
