On a night when the Kings’ starters underwhelmed, Raynaud enjoyed his best game as a pro. Less than a week after scoring 19 points against the Jazz, the rookie center recorded his first 20-point game in Houston. While he may not be Domantas Sabonis’ replacement in the starting lineup, Raynaud has more opportunities to contribute with the veteran center sidelined. And his upside is superior to that of Drew Eubanks, who only played ten minutes on Wednesday. Raynaud isn’t a must-add just yet, but he deserves a look in deep leagues.

Even better for fantasy managers was the veteran guard recording a complete stat line, something he’s done on four other occasions this season. Rostered in 22 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Monk sits just outside the top-150 in nine-cat formats. Given his importance to the Kings’ rotation, he’s worth rostering in 14-team leagues, but 12-team league managers can afford to look elsewhere for production.

After poor showings in games against the Timberwolves and Suns, LaVine has been more productive in the Kings’ last two games. In Sunday’s defeat, the veteran wing’s stat line included a season-high three steals. In fact, this was LaVine’s third game of the season with multiple steals. In other words, fantasy managers should know not to look to him for consistent defensive production. The hope is that he can knock down shots at a decent clip. The Kings play only two games in Week 7, starting with the Rockets on Wednesday.

DeRozan led the way offensively for the Kings, who had three players score at least 19 points on Sunday. Their issue was one DeRozan couldn’t help with: the inability to slow down Memphis center Zach Edey. Over the past two weeks, DeMar has provided fifth-round value in nine-cat formats, sitting just outside the top-50. Unfortunately, Sacramento has a bad Week 7 schedule, as they only play twice. DeRozan should be held, but there are Kings further down the pecking order who won’t be of much use to fantasy managers.

Raynaud generally hasn’t played a large role outside of blowouts, but he was able to step into 22 minutes in this game and have the best offensive performances of his young career. He is an intriguing option in dynasty leagues, and this game could help him earn more minutes in the rotation, but he isn’t a standard league option at this point of his career.

Even when he is written off, Westbrook continues to fill up the box score. In this game, he was able to record the 206th triple-double of his career, which extends his lead over everyone else that’s ever played in the NBA. Russ has his share of efficiency issues, but he is still more than capable of making a big impact in fantasy basketball when he’s given the minutes. It’s clear that Kings coach Doug Christie will continue to ensure that happens.

Murray’s three-point shooting has been his strongest attribute throughout his career. However, he didn’t provide much value from beyond the arc in this game. He made up for that with his second 20-point double-double of the season and continued dominance in contributing defensive stats. Murray also played a whopping 45 minutes; clearly Kings coach Doug Christie is going to ensure Murray is on the floor. Would Tom Thibodeau even go this far? Murray should have ample time on the court moving forward to dominate in fantasy basketball.

It wasn’t enough to get the Kings a win, but LaVine was able to get back on track in this game. After a scoring a total of 35 points across his last three games, LaVine nearly matched that mark while setting a new season-high for scoring. He’s certainly still capable of pouring in the points, and he’ll hopefully be able to maintain this level of production moving forward.

Rostered in three percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been five rounds more valuable than Eubanks in nine-cat formats. Neither Achiuwa nor Eubanks should be considered a must-roster player, but the former should be the preferred option for managers in dire need of a post player.

He shot 3-of-5 from beyond the arc and did a good job on the glass, but the veteran point guard recorded five turnovers. A high-turnover night is unsurprising, but one would expect more from Westbrook in the assist category to counter that. He’ll look to get back on track when the Kings visit the Jazz on Friday.

Murray was one of two Kings to lead the way in scoring on Wednesday, with Russell Westbrook also tallying 19 points. Since making his first start on November 22, the fourth-year forward has scored at least 19 in all three games. For fantasy managers, it has been good to see Murray not take a back seat to Zach LaVine or DeMar DeRozan so far. What would be most impactful on his value for the rest of the season is the Kings moving a veteran or two, clearing the decks for Murray.

Murray notched his first double-double of the season as Sacramento overcame a 10-point deficit in the final three minutes to ultimately emerge with an overtime victory. The 25-year-old former lottery pick was extremely aggressive in this one, taking a season-high 19 shots while stepping up from a rebounding standpoint with center Domantas Sabonis sidelined with left knee soreness. He’s delivered third-round fantasy production in the three games he’s played, averaging 18.7 points and 7.7 rebounds since making his season debut back on November 20.

Monk scored 16 of his 22 points off the bench in the second half, knocking down seven of 12 shots after the break to help Sacramento mount a late comeback effort. The veteran sharpshooter did a little bit of everything in this one, adding two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in a performance that felt like a full Thanksgiving plate. He can be safely ignored in most fantasy leagues but should see a few additional shot opportunities while Domantas Sabonis remains sidelined with left knee soreness.

Having begun the season as Sacramento’s starting point guard, Schröder lost his job on November 14, and the demotion has negatively impacted his fantasy value. However, the veteran guard is capable of having the occasional big night despite coming off the bench. Saturday was an example of that, with Schröder only needing 15 minutes to record one of his best lines of the season. The potential, which was realized on Saturday, is why Schröder is still rostered in 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Playing in Denver for the first time since leaving the Nuggets in free agency this summer, Westbrook was outstanding on Saturday. The veteran point guard recorded an efficient double-double, and he’s providing top-100 value in eight-cat formats. Westbrook’s play led to him replacing Dennis Schröder as the Kings’ starting point guard earlier this season, and the depth chart won’t change anytime soon, given his solid play. The Kings play four games in Week 6, starting with the Timberwolves on Monday.

The good news for fantasy managers was that he was pretty involved in the Kings’ offense, something that had been a concern last season, when he was playing alongside Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan for the first time. If Murray can make stat lines like the one he recorded on Saturday a habit, fantasy managers won’t have any need for concern.

While Murray can easily provide excellent fantasy value, Achiuwa wasn’t worth streaming when allowed to start. Sabonis has a partially torn left meniscus, which has him set to be re-evaluated between Dec. 11 and 18. Drew Eubanks will start in his place for now, with rookie Maxime Raynaud filling out the reserve minutes. Neither is a reliable option, but there will certainly be opportunities. This is a tough blow for a Kings team that has started the season slowly.
