Kittredge underwent knee debridement surgery at the beginning of March. The right-hander will be a high-leverage option once healthy, but there’s no timetable for a return just yet.

Sanchez’ home run was his second of the year. He hit a grand slam off Connor Brogdon in the seventh inning to put the Orioles ahead 9-2. Sanchez doesn’t have much fantasy value as the Orioles’ backup catcher, but he’s hit the ball well on both his rehab assignment and since coming off the injured list.

Westburg’s home run was his seventh of the year. He hit a two-run shot off Kenley Jansen in the eighth inning. Westburg has hit three home runs and knocked in eight runs in five games since returning from the injured list. Now that he’s healthy, he looks like the player fantasy managers thought they were getting before the season.

Povich gave up three hits, walked one and struck out four. The 25-year-old left-hander followed Scott Blewett, who pitched the first inning as the opener for the Orioles. Povich has a 5.15 ERA on the year, but his 3.87 xFIP shows that he deserves better. Povich has allowed a .350 BABIP and stranded just 69 percent of runners and both of those numbers are well above league average. He would also have a better chance of securing wins if the Orioles continue to use an opener for his starts. Povich is lined up for a difficult matchup with the Yankees on the road next weekend.
