Moncada has been on the IL since June 2 with right knee inflammation. He has been taking batting practice from the left side and participating in on-field baseball activities. He will now head to Arizona to begin his rehab assignment and could be back by early July.

Ward opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI double off of Mitchell Parker that plated Nolan Schanuel in the first inning to give the Angels an early 1-0 lead. Ward also led off the sixth inning with a double and scored on an RBI knock off the bat of Jo Adell. With his three-hit afternoon, the 31-year-old outfielder is now slashing .216/.287/.481 with 20 homers and 57 RBI on the season.

The 37-year-old hurler came on with a one-run lead to protect in the ninth inning and immediately got into trouble as Daylen Lile started the frame with a double to right field. After he was sacrificed to third, Jacob Young followed with an RBI single that tied the game. Jansen also walked James Wood intentionally in the inning before striking out Amed Rosario to end it. Jansen now sports a 4.40 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and a 26/11 K/BB ratio over 28 2/3 innings on the season while converting 15 of his first 16 save chances.
