Dalbec now has six home runs with a .287 average and .862 OPS at Triple-A. At this point, we’ve seen Dalbec consistently produce at Triple-A only to strike out far too much at the big league level, but perhaps he gets another shot in Milwaukee.

Contreras doubled in a run in the fourth, and he was able to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead in the sixth with a sac fly. It’s been a disappointing season for Contreras even before you consider the lofty expectations, as he’s still slashing just .239/.346/.340. It’s reasonable — if not probable — that Contreras will pick things up over the second half of 2025.

Megill was handed a 3-1 lead in the ninth, so fortunately the run didn’t cause a blown save. It did cause his ERA to rise to 3.06, but fantasy managers will accept that number as long as the saves keep coming. He’s now up to 14 on the season, and two strikeouts during Friday’s effort raise his K/BB ratio to 26/12. That’s far from dominant, but effective enough.

Peralta was excellent again Friday, and that gives him 12 innings of one-run baseball over his last two starts. He scattered four hits, and issued just one walk while throwing 56-of-93 pitches for strikes. The 29-year-old now has an outstanding 2.60 ERA on the season, and it’s accompanied by a 84/32 K/BB ratio over his 83 innings. Peralta’s next matchup is scheduled for Thursday in Chicago against the Cubs.

Raley has been out since the end of April with his oblique strain. The 30-year-old will likely need a handful of games in Triple-A, and then he should return to a regular role against right-handed pitching with the Mariners in the middle of June.

Raley had been hoping to start a rehab assignment this week, but he is instead settling for max effort batting practice. The 30-year-old reportedly felt good after the swings and hopes to start his rehab assignment next week.

Raley is set to ramp up baseball activities this week with the goal of heading out next week on a rehab assignment. The 30-year-old corner outfielder has been out since late April with a right oblique strain. He should make it back to Seattle’s lineup by mid-June.
