Rafaela has been bumped up to the prime spot in Boston’s lineup as his multi-week hot streak shows zero signs of slowing down. The toolsy 24-year-old former top prospect has always flashes an impressive power/speed combo, but he’s made a legitimate leap in recent weeks, thanks to a newfound emphasis on lifting the ball. He’s batting .331 (47-for-142) with 11 homers, 27 RBI and five steals over 39 games since May 27. There’s enough evidence and sustained success to suggest that this hot streak isn’t a complete mirage.

Fitts returns to the majors to bolster Boston’s bullpen this weekend after Hunter Dobbins suffered a torn ACL during Friday’s series opener against the Rays. The 25-year-old righty might end up pitching in relief initially, but should slot back into the Red Sox’ rotation mix coming out of the All-Star break.

Dobbins suffered the season-ending knee injury during Friday’s start against the Rays. He previously tore his ACL while playing high school football. The 25-year-old righty is facing a lengthy rehabilitation process following surgery, but there’s a chance he’s able to make it back to Boston’s rotation at some point in the early stages of next season. He finishes his abbreviated rookie campaign with a solid 4.13 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 45/17 K/BB ratio across 61 innings (13 appearances, 11 starts). It’s a tough hit to Boston’s rotation depth for the next few months, but it’s easy to envision Dobbins returning next season as a mid-rotation arm.

It’s become extremely common in recent years for clubs to give a player a quick break following their return from the injured list, especially if they skipped a minor league rehab assignment. Bregman takes a seat on Saturday after going 1-for-4 with a double on Friday in his return to Boston’s lineup following a six-week absence recovering from a quad strain. He’ll likely be back at the hot corner for Sunday’s first-half finale at Fenway Park. It’ll be Marcelo Mayer taking over at third base in this one.

Buxton probably would have been lifted earlier if he didn’t only need the cycle for the homer. He had everything else by the end of the third inning. He then hit a line drive single in the fifth, and he got the homer, a 427-foot blast off Andrew Heaney, in the seventh. He departed after that. Buxton is hitting .286/.350/.571 with 21 homers and 17 steals this season. He’s seventh in the majors in OPS and tied for ninth in runs scored, even though he’s played 15 fewer games than everyone else in the top 10.

Wetherholt — who was promoted to Triple-A Memphis earlier this week — headlines a senior circuit lineup that includes rising fantasy sensation Konnor Griffin, who has emerged as arguably the top prospect in the entire dynasty landscape during his professional debut. It also features Dodgers burgeoning sluggers Zyhir Hope and Josue De Paula in addition to Brewers phenom Jesús Made, who has cemented his status as a top-10 dynasty prospect in the game. Here’s the full lineup: Wetherholt (DH), Griffin (SS), Owen Caissie (RF), Charlie Condon (1B), Hope (CF), Made (2B), De Paula (LF), LuJames Groover (3B), Joe Mack (C) and JR Ritchie (P).
