This should have been six scoreless innings, but with two outs in the sixth, Michael Toglia and Thairo Estrada lost a popup in the rain, allowing two runs to score. The game was halted immediately afterwards, and though Dollander exited, he was charged with a third run after the delay. The loss leaves him 2-8 with a 6.06 ERA. He’s slated to face the Astros next week.

The team had Monday off, so this means Goodman’s started just twice in five days, which is kind of curious. The Rockies were often DHing him when he wasn’t catching, and he started 39 straight games from Apr. 13 through May 25.

Toglia put the first run of the game on the board with a double in the first inning to bring Hunter Goodman home from first base. He drove in a second run with another double in the third and doubled again in the fifth for his third of the game. The 26-year-old first baseman is 10-for-33 (.303) with three homers and three doubles since he was recalled from Triple-A on June 16.

Marquez got through three scoreless innings before unraveling in the fourth. After the leadoff man reached on an error, the Dodgers brought six runs in to score, including three on a home run by Michael Conforto. Márquez appeared to roll his ankle on a play but remained in to finish the inning. He was replaced in the fifth by Ryan Rolison at 68 pitches. The 30-year-old right-hander has posted a 6.26 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and a 56/24 K/BB ratio across 77 2/3 innings. Assuming he’s good to go for his next start, he’ll take on the Brewers in Milwaukee on Sunday.
