Nelson gave up a run in the first on a sac fly, but that run was unearned because of an error on the throw by Alek Thomas. After that, the right-hander did give up some baserunners with six hits, but no one else crossed the plate while he struck out three and issued just one walk. Nelson now has an ERA of 4.14 on the season, and will look to build on this effort next week against the Blue Jays.
