Kopech is moved to the 60-day list to make room for Tyler Glasnow (shoulder), who is coming off that list to start Wednesday against the Brewers. Kopech now won’t be eligible to return until the end of August.

He struck out five and walked three. Glasnow averaged 96.8 mph with his fastball today, a nice improvement over his mark of 95.2 mph from his first five starts before going on the IL with a shoulder injury. He was in that same improved territory in his three Triple-A rehab starts, too, so it doesn’t seem like a one-time thing. It bodes well for his second half, if he can remain healthy.

Scott entered a 2-1 game to retire Christian Yelich to end the eighth and then stayed on for the ninth, which saw the Brewers string together three singles to tie the game. Kirby Yates later took the loss after allowing the automatic runner to score in the 10th. Scott continues to frustrate Dodgers fan and fantasy leaguers alike, but his 47/7 K/BB in 42 innings is strong and ERA estimators suggest he’s pretty unlucky to be at 3.86 right now. He should keep getting the ball in save situations.
