Kopech is moved to the 60-day list to make room for Tyler Glasnow (shoulder), who is coming off that list to start Wednesday against the Brewers. Kopech now won’t be eligible to return until the end of August.

Glasnow will make his first start since the end of April. The right-hander was able to fire 78 pitches in his last rehab start, so it’s reasonable to think he can work five-plus innings in this return. Glasnow’s injury troubles are always, well, troubling; but when he’s on the mound, there aren’t many better.

Edman missed three consecutive games with the hairline fracture in his right pinkie toe, but he’s feeling well enough to get the nod for Wednesday’s bout with the Brewers. Don’t be surprised if Edman gets some more maintenance days during the summer months.
