The 26-year-old outfielder will go for additional testing to see if there’s any sort of structural damage there. Look for the O’s to provide an update on his status as soon as more information is available.

Urías hit a classic Yankee Stadium home run in the eighth inning of this one off Luke Weaver that just barely stretched over the right field fence next to the foul pole. Despite all the young talent that’s come up through Baltimore over the last four years, Urías still has an everyday job and a spot in the heart of this order.

Well, this looked like the old Bautista. He dialed his fastball up to 100 mph to strike out Aaron Judge and that pitch had great life at the top of the zone. This was a very easy ninth inning and suddenly, Bautista has just a 2.70 ERA and has converted each of his last nine save opportunities.

Sugano struggled mightily with the Yankees. He let the first four batters of the game reach base safely and was under duress from that point inward. The lead-off hitter got on in every inning he started and he was generally fortunate to give up just two runs despite 10 reaching base in under four innings of work. This is now back-to-back starts by Sugano where he failed to complete five innings. He’d done so in 10 of his first 12 starts this season. He’ll look to get back on track in his next scheduled start against the Rangers at home.

After facing an early 4-0 deficit, Greene got the Tigers back in the game with a 432-foot (108.1 mph EV) three-run blast off of Shane Baz in the third inning. He then walked to lead off the sixth inning and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Parker Meadows. Greene also led off the eighth inning with a 381-foot (111.2 mph EV) solo shot off of Eric Orze that pulled the Tigers to within five runs at 11-6. With his three-hit attack, the sizzling 24-year-old outfielder is now slashing .287/.341/.526 with 17 long balls and 59 RBI.

Benson has now been ice cold (11-for-68, one homer in 23 games) for twice as long as he was hot (12-for-34, five homers in his first 11 games). Maybe the Reds will keep him around after Austin Hays is activated, but a reduced role is necessary.

Roberts will serve his suspension on Friday. Padres’ right-hander Robert Suarez was given a three-game suspension while Padres’ manager Mike Shildt was suspended for one game for his role in the altercation. It’s unclear if either will appeal their bans or begin serving them immediately.
