Jacob Misiorowski (ankle) is expected to make his next scheduled start.

The rookie right-hander was pulled from his MLB debut on Thursday night after rolling his ankle, but he woke up feeling much better on Friday and doesn’t think it will impact him going forward. He’ll have all eyes on him when he takes the mound against the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Wednesday.

Mitchell could return this weekend or early next week after missing nearly two months with an oblique strain. Isaac Collins, who has been playing pretty regularly in the Milwaukee outfield lately, will lose at-bats.

Daz Cameron, who is on the paternity list, will be activated prior to Tuesday’s game. Avans, called up Friday, made one appearance for the Brewers and went 0-for-2 with a sac fly.

Trevor Megill struck out three in a row after two singles to start the ninth and earned his 15th save Sunday against the Cardinals.

The second single was a bunt by Nolan Gorman, putting the tying run on second base and the go-ahead run on first. Megill, though, fanned Jordan Walker, Victor Scott II and Masyn Winn afterwards. It’s the first time since April 2 that he’s struck out three in an inning.
