Let’s try this again. Naylor makes his return to Arizona’s lineup at DH on Wednesday night following a four-game absence due to neck spasms. It’s the type of issue that can be persistent and tends to linger so the hope for fantasy managers is that the extra time off put the issue to bed. The 28-year-old first baseman has put together an excellent Diamondbacks debut so far, hitting .304 with 10 homers and 10 steals through 77 games.

Nelson has been booted from Arizona’s 40-man roster to make room for free agent Jake Woodford to sign a big-league deal. The 28-year-old southpaw has been hit hard in 20 relief appearances this season at Triple-A Reno after missing most of last year recovering from shoulder inflammation that led to surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome.

The 23-year-old outfielder will get in at least a handful of minor league contests after making it through Wednesday’s live batting practice session without any issues.

Greene will get a well-deserved breather during Wednesday’s nightcap in Washington D.C. after crushing a pair of three-run homers during the front-end of the twin bill. The 24-year-old has been the primary offensive catalyst this season for the upstart Tigers and figures to make his second straight All-Star Game appearance in a couple weeks.

That’s a nice result to put up smack dab in the middle of the second round of All-Star balloting. Greene homered off Trevor Williams in the first and Jackson Rutledge in the fourth. It’s his seventh career two-homer game and second game with six RBI. He is batting .298/.348/.555 with 21 homers to date, and he’s now third in the majors with 69 RBI.
