It’s worth noting this was the fourth consecutive extra-inning game for the Rangers, and the fifth time they’ve played past the ninth in their last six. Weird. Semien also reached twice via walk for one of his best games of the 2025 campaign. It’s a bit of faint praise, as the 34-year-old has disappointed in 2025 with a .237/.315/.355 slash, eight homers and 37 runs driven in.

He also stole his eighth base of the season. With two on and two outs in the bottom of the 10th, García launched a blast off Keegan Akin to keep the Rangers alive. It gets Garcia into double digits, but he’s still slugging a disappointing .388 with a less-than-spectacular .659 OPS over the Rangers’ first 85 games.

Corbin was able to strike out six over his six frames, and he issued just one walk. The 35-year-old was much better than he was in his outing against Baltimore last week, even while allowing eight hits. His ERA is now 4.26 on the season with a respectable — but far from excellent — 66/24 K/BB ratio over his 15 starts and 82 1/3 innings. He’s scheduled to be back on the bump against the Padres on Sunday. You should probably find a better option for that contest.

Barnhart has decided to hang up his spikes after a dozen years in the majors from 2014-2025 that included stints with the Reds, Tigers, Cubs, Diamondbacks and Rangers. The 34-year-old backstop got into eight contests earlier this year with Texas and calls it a career after 920 big-league games.

LeMahieu is 7-for-41 with one extra-base hit and a 14/2 K/BB in his last 15 games. He needs to heat back up if he wants to avoid seeing the Yankees upgrade at either second or third (with Jazz Chisholm Jr. moving back to second) prior to the deadline.

Westburg took pregame batting practice without any issues and told reporters he’s aiming to rejoin Baltimore’s lineup in the next day or two. The 26-year-old added that he’ll need to manage the left index finger issue for a while moving forward, but it doesn’t sound like he’s going to require a trip to the injured list.

Westburg remains on Baltimore’s bench for the third consecutive contest after aggravating a left finger injury during Friday’s game against the Rays. The 26-year-old infielder has missed six of the club’s last eight games. There’s been no indication that he’ll require a trip to the injured list, but those odds increase exponentially the longer he remains sidelined. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. There should be some clarity on his status following Monday’s contest.
