Ezequiel Duran went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a walk on Sunday afternoon, leading the Rangers to a 2-1 victory over the visiting White Sox.

Duran got the scoring started in the ballgame as he roped a two-out RBI double into right field off of Aaron Civale in the third inning. The versatile 26-year-old also drew a walk in the sixth inning and doubled with two outs in the eighth, but the Rangers were unable to cash him in either time. He has struggled in his limited action overall with the Rangers this season, going 6-for-40 (.150) with zero homers, two RBI and a 13/1 K/BB ratio.

Luke Jackson slammed the door on the White Sox on Sunday afternoon, working a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a one-run advantage.

The 33-year-old right-hander wasn’t messing around in this one, getting Ryan Noda on a bouncer to first base, Brooks Baldwin on a swinging third strike and Josh Rojas on a fly ball to center to end it. Jackson has fallen in the pecking order for saves in the Rangers’ bullpen, but he has still made good on nine of his first 11 chances on the season and has proven to be a capable option there.

Kumar Rocker was terrific in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the White Sox, allowing just four hits and one walk over five innings of shutout baseball.

The 25-year-old right-hander racked up six strikeouts on the afternoon. Rocker was pressed into emergency action on Sunday with Tyler Mahle (shoulder) hitting the injured list, and he made a statement that he’s here to say this time around. All four of the hits that he allowed in the contest were singles and only once did the White Sox have a baserunner reach third base against him. Rocker got eight swings and misses on 82 pitches on the afternoon, posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to further improve upon his 7.31 ERA and 1.69 WHIP (28 1/3 innings) when he squares off against the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Jordan Westburg went 2-for-4 with a walk, three runs scored and a two-run home run against the Angels on Sunday.

Gleyber Torres went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, a double and an RBI against the Reds on Sunday.

Torres went hitless on Saturday, but sandwiched that game with two excellent offensive performances against the Reds. The 28-year-old second baseman hit two home runs on Friday and had a three-hit game on Sunday. Torres has been quite an addition to the Tigers lineup this year. He’s hitting .276 with a .796 OPS and 34 RBI on the year.

Matt McLain went 2-for-5 with two runs scored against the Tigers on Sunday.

Batting in the No. 2 spot in the order Sunday, McClain managed two hits and two runs scored in the win over the Tigers. The 25-year-old second baseman is still hitting just .191 on the season, but appears to be making some positive strides at the plate so far in June. Reclaiming a regular spot in the top third of the batting order would go a long way for his fantasy value over the rest of the season.
