The 30-year-old hurler struck out four batters on the evening while issuing one base on balls. Senzatela actually pitched decently in this one, giving up a two-run single to Michael A. Taylor in the fourth inning and a solo blast to Edgar Quero in the sixth, but otherwise he kept the White Sox’ offense at bay. He got nine swings and misses on 95 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 26 percent. Now 3-12 on the season, he’ll carry an uninspiring 6.57 ERA and 1.90 WHIP into Wednesday’s matchup against the Red Sox in Boston.

It’s the second time in the last three games that Doyle has found himself situated on the bench, both times coming against right-handed pitchers. He has struggled mightily at the dish this season and if he winds up on the short side of a platoon role in center field, any fantasy value that he may have had in deeper leagues falls away. Mickey Moniak will start in his place once again and will bat fifth for the Rockies against White Sox’ right-hander Adrian Houser.

Hilliard went unclaimed after being designated for assignment by the Rockies on Tuesday. He’ll remain in the organization but he’ll need to be added to the 40-man roster if they determine him worthy of a promotion.

The injury occurred while making a tag in the fourth inning. The 32-year-old was replaced by Jake Bauers. He’ll likely need to undergo testing, and his potential availability should be updated before Saturday’s game against Miami.

Busch has seven hits, including four homers, the last two days. His homer today was the first by a lefty off Matthew Liberatore this season. Busch is typically platooned with Justin Turner, and he came into the day just 6-for-43 against lefties this season, but yesterday’s massive game kept him in the lineup for this one. He’s up to sixth in the majors with a .939 OPS, and it’s going to be very difficult to keep him off the NL All-Star team,

The entire city of Toronto, and fantasy managers too, can exhale after Guerrero sat out Friday’s game after fouling a ball off his foot. The 26-year-old fantasy stalwart, who is back at DH and batting third on Saturday afternoon at the Rogers Centre, was named the starting first baseman for the American League in the upcoming All-Star Game earlier this week and will head to the Midsummer Classic for the fifth straight season.
