Victor Scott II nearly made an outstanding catch on the double that produced both runs, but it went off his glove. Castellanos is off to a .308/.357/.519 start, and his fantasy value is, at least temporarily, up a tad with Alec Bohm getting dropped in the Philadelphia lineup.

Wilson, 30, has been ineffective off the bench, and the Phillies will send the outfielder down to Lehigh Valley while replacing him with Buddy Kennedy. Assuming Wilson gets back on track in the minors, he should rejoin Philadelphia; albeit in a role that offers no fantasy upside.

It’s just a procedural move that opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for Buddy Kennedy. Nola will be eligible to come off the injured list right after the All-Star break, but there’s no guarantee he’ll be ready to return given his rib and ankle injuries.

The Pirates decided not to throw Paul Skenes up against Tarik Skubal because we can’t have nice things. That means Andrew Heaney will take the mound in Game 1, and both Carpenter and Colt Keith will be on the bench. They should return for Game 2, but Jahmai Jones will DH in Game 1.

This back injury might be an opportunity to place him on the injured list and give him a brief reset.
