Selby pitched two scoreless innings last night after being recalled earlier in the day. Since that means he’ll be unavailable for at least one day, back down to Triple-A he goes.

It’s not official yet, but as suspected, Rogers will be the choice to fill in for Cade Povich in the Orioles rotation. He had a great season debut for the team last month, when he shut out the Red Sox for 6 1/3 innings in the second game of a doubleheader. However, he’s struggled to a 5.46 ERA in Triple-A.

Wolfram will begin a third stint in the majors, though it’s unclear if this one will last any longer than the others. He was up with the Brewers for one day in April, didn’t pitch and was then DFA’d and sent to Baltimore. He made two appearances for the Orioles later that month, giving up two runs in 1 1/3 innings. The 28-year-old has a 5.01 ERA in 23 1/3 innings of relief work in Triple-A this year.

There weren’t a lot of positive takeaways for the Orioles during this one-sided affair, but Rutschman managed to sneak a towering blast over the right-field wall in the fourth inning for his eighth big fly of the season. Unfortunately, it represented the lone tally on the night for Baltimore as Ryan Pepiot twirled an impressive eight-inning gem.
