Bregman isn’t going to play in the All-Star game because of his quad injury, but there’s a chance we see him in a regular season bout before that break. The 31-year-old won’t be rushed back, but assuming there’s no setback, there’s reason to believe he’s back in the lineup (relatively) soon.

Cora’s remarks back up his comments earlier in the day during a local radio interview on WEEI that Bregman was going to make it back before next week’s All-Star break. The 31-year-old third baseman figures to be activated later this week during Boston’s final first-half series against the Rays at Fenway Park.

Yoshida will finally make his season debut after missing the first three-plus months of the season due to offseason shoulder surgery. The 31-year-old is expected to be the designated hitter for most of his appearances, but also could see time at first base and in the corner outfield. He’s not an elite fantasy option, but there’s enough here for him to be a helper in a few categories for those in need.Ceddanne Rafaela will get Wednesday off with Yoshida back.

According to a team statement, Ramírez — a seven-time All-Star selection — is skipping the Midsummer Classic to focus on recovery and preparation for the second half.

Arenado missed three games while dealing with a right shoulder impingement. There’s a chance he could see some maintenance games between now and the All-Star break, but for now, he’s feeling well enough to play and that’s obviously a positive development.
