It was his first home run since May 19 as he missed roughly two weeks with a hamstring injury. The 30-year-old outfielder is up to 11 homers while hitting .236/.324/.462 with 34 RBI and eight steals over 222 plate appearances.

Hernández, though, gave up a grand slam and five runs while getting two outs, and Anthony Banda ended up finishing the game. Ohtani has 25 homers this year, leaving him one behind Aaron Judge and Cal Raleigh for the MLB lead. He’s up to 250 career homers in 929 games since debuting in 2018.

Helfand reports that the strain is on the “milder” side, but not so mild that it won’t require another stint on the injured list for Lewis. The 26-year-old could return by the end of June or start of July if there are no setbacks, but a more concrete timeline should be provided in the coming days.
