Sheehan followed Shohei Ohtani on Saturday in bulk relief against the Giants. After three scoreless innings from Ohtani, Sheehan took over and kept the Giants off the board into the eighth. He’d leave with two runners on and one out. One inherited runner would come in to score. Sheehan struck out three. The 25-year-old right-hander picks up his first win over the season and holds a 2.03 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and a 13/4 K/BB ratio across 13 1/3 innings of work.

Trout’s 17th homer of the 2025 campaign gave the Angels a 6-2 lead in the fifth. The future Hall of Famer drove in two more with a single in the eighth to make it 10-5 and put the game out of reach. Trout is hitting just .236, but the .471 slugging percentage and .359 on-base mark have been nice to see over the first half of the 2025 season.

Ozuna, who didn’t play Friday, has two homers in three games after going 21 games without one. It doesn’t seem like his hip is going to allow him to be his usual self during the second half, but the four days off will probably do him some good.
