Byron Buxton went 3-for-5 with a walk, a stolen base and two solo home runs against the Brewers on Sunday.

Buxton’s two home runs give him 17 on the season. He hit a solo shot off Quinn Priester in the first inning and another solo shot off Abner Uribe in the sixth inning. Buxton has two two-homer games in his last four games and has hit six home runs over his last six games. He’s hitting .285 with a .928 OPS and 47 RBI on the year.

David Festa allowed eight runs in 4 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Brewers on Sunday.

Festa gave up 12 hits, walked three and struck out three. The 25-year-old right-hander followed opener Danny Coulombe, who allowed one run in the first inning. Festa allowed eight runs before he was finally removed in the sixth inning. His 96 pitches helped save some bullpen usage, though the Twins still ended up using five relief pitchers if you include Coulombe. That doesn’t do much for fantasy managers hoping Festa would turn his season around as his ERA is now up to 6.39 on the year. He’s best left on fantasy benches next weekend against the Tigers on the road.

Mauricio Dubón went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and three RBI on Sunday afternoon, powering the Astros to an 8-7 victory over the Angels in Los Angeles.

The versatile 30-year-old had just three home runs on the entire season entering play on Sunday, all of them coming in his last 22 plate appearances. He continued that barrage on Sunday, launching a 378-foot (99.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Kyle Hendricks to get the Astros on the board in the fifth inning. He then clobbered a go-ahead 402-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Hunter Strickland the next inning to give the Astros a lead they would never relinquish. He also drew a walk in the ballgame, reaching base safely three times in five plate appearances. On the season, he’s slashing a respectable .255/.297/.421 with five homers, 18 RBI and a pair of stolen bases in 156 plate appearances.

Wyatt Langford (back) is in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Pirates.

Langford is back patrolling center field and batting second following a brief two-game absence due to back stiffness. It’s a positive development for fantasy managers that the 23-year-old power/speed combo threat is feeling well enough to get back into action on Sunday afternoon since back issues tend to be complicated matters that tend to linger.

Alan Roden (knee) is back in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the White Sox.

Roden is back in left field and batting ninth after missing three straight games with right knee inflammation. It doesn’t appear to be a serious concern moving forward.
