Loperfido has now started four straight games since being called up from Triple-A and is 5-for-11 in his first three games with one home run, one run, five RBI, and two strikeouts. The 26-year-old drastically reduced his strikeout rate in Triple-A this season thanks to a more selective approach. He still swings and misses a little more than you’d like, but he has the power to make up for it and that could make him an intriguing gamble in deeper formats right now.

Altuve got the Astros on the board in the opening inning with a sacrifice fly that tied the score at 1-1. He then smacked a two-run double in the fifth inning that pulled the Astros to within three runs at 6-3. The 35-year-old outfielder also drove in the game-tying run with an RBI knock off of Hunter Gaddis in the eighth inning. That would be the extent of their scoring, however. With his two-hit attack, Altuve is now hitting .272/.332/.456 with 16 homers, 50 RBI and six stolen bases (in 12 attempts) on the season.
