Domantas Sabonis had 16 points (5-of-10 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), 17 rebounds, an assist, and a steal in the 116-103 loss to the Lakers.

At the end of the game, he was holding his ribs and grimacing in pain as he went to the locker room, so it’s something to keep an eye on. The two-man game with Acuff has been effective on the offensive end. The usage of Sabonis has gone done dramatically and he’s shooting very efficiently from the field this year at 69.1% when the best season he had apart from this year was 61.5% in the 22-23 season. If the efficiency drops, then Sabonis will likely have more of a drop off in the points category with how much Acuff has had the ball.
