The 2024 second-round pick doesn’t currently have a reported deal in place for next season after spending his rookie year on a two-way deal, but the expectation is that he will remain with the Spurs. He only played in five games during his rookie season and played seven minutes per game in those, but he played well during last year’s Summer League. He struggled offensively in this one, but he should be a better option for them as the summer continues.

Ingram did not see any action after halftime for the second straight game. On Saturday, Spurs summer league coach Mike Noyes said that the second-year forward tweaked his groin, hence the minutes limit. Ingram played 14 of a possible 20 first-half minutes before being shut down for the remainder of the game. While the previous experience should mean Ingram will be one of San Antonio’s leading options this summer, the minutes limit may minimize his impact.

The exodus continues in Boston as Kornet is another player from the Celtics’ 2024 Championship team that will be wearing a different uniform next season. The 29-year-old center was clearly coveted around the league in this free agency period. The Spurs made it a priority to add the backup center on a four-year deal. Kornet averaged 6.0 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game last year.

Williams was solid in his first game of Summer League, and he was even better on Monday. The 2024 lottery pick had an atrocious rookie season but was always considered a developmental project. While we may not see him take a giant leap this year, the fact that he is producing well in Summer League is encouraging. He should be better than most of his competition, and he’s playing like it.

Once again, there weren’t really any answers for Sensabaugh in this game. He has 56 points and 11 threes through two Summer League games, and he got to the free throw line at will on Monday. It likely won’t be long before the 2023 first-round pick is asked to sit out the rest of Summer League. He has been that dominant and should play a large role for Utah this season.

Once again, Wells played well, but he shot the ball inefficiently. He is now 11-of-32 (34.4 percent) from the floor through two games. He didn’t play a high-volume offensive role for Memphis as a rookie, and that is unlikely to change next season, so this rough shooting in Summer League is nothing to be concerned about.
