On his 21st birthday, not long after the completion of the 2025 NBA Draft, Ndiaye agreed to a two-way deal. The 6-foot-8 forward most recently played for Real Madrid, where he played for teams that won consecutive Liga ACB titles. Ndiaye’s production was limited to begin his Real Madrid career, but he was the starting power forward for the team this season. While most of his time may be spent in the G League, Ndiaye’s upside makes him a player worth the risk for the Hawks.

Rumors had been heating up shortly before the deal went down, and now it’s official: Porzingis is headed to Atlanta. It’s unclear how he’ll fit into the rotation; Onyeka Okongwu thrived as a starter down the stretch of last season. It will likely result in another minutes split at center in Atlanta, which is what Okongwu just got out of after years of sharing time with Clint Capela. The Hawks would’ve had multiple center options available with the 22nd pick, but none of them would make the impact that Porzingis will be ready to make next season. Atlanta loses some forward depth, but they can address that with the 13th pick.

With Jalen Johnson and Onyeka Okongwu set to man the starting frontcourt positions in Atlanta, Capela is likely to look for a new team. The Lakers’ Achilles heel is the team’s lack of depth at center, and Capela could provide a strong presence down low. If he signs with LA, expect Capela to supplant Jaxson Hayes as the starter or at the very least split playing time with him.

Butler appeared in 60 games last season, 28 as a member of the 76ers after being acquired from the Wizards at the February trade deadline. The former second-round pick was one of the players whose minutes increased once Philadelphia shifted its focus toward strengthening the odds that they would keep their first-round pick, which was top-6 protected. Butler averaged 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 24.4 minutes per game as a 76ers player. With Philadelphia declining his option, Butler will be an unrestricted free agent.

Chicago’s decision to tender a qualifying offer to Giddey means he will be a restricted free agent on June 30. Thanks to this move, the Bulls can match any offer sheet the guard may sign with another team. Chicago can also offer Giddey more money and years than any other team interested in signing him. In his first season with the team, Giddey established good on-court chemistry with Coby White and recorded career-best averages in rebounds, assists, steals and three-pointers. Staying in Chicago would give Giddey a higher fantasy ceiling, potentially providing top-50 value.
