Eagles DC Vic Fangio said that the team has discussed moving slot CB Cooper DeJean to outside cornerback.

The report comes from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who notes that the newly acquired CB Michael Carter is a career slot cornerback. His acquisition allows the Eagles to move DeJean to the perimeter if they so desire. Doing so could give the Eagles an elite perimeter coverage tandem in DeJean and fellow second-year CB Quinyon Mitchell. Both players made the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2024.
