49ers traded LB Dee Winters to the Cowboys for a fifth-round pick.

San Francisco managed a fifth-round pick in return for Winters, a move that makes sense for both sides following the return of Dre Greenlaw earlier this offseason. Winters led the linebacking corps with 1,038 defensive snaps in 2025 while playing in all but the team’s Wild Card win after injuring his ankle in Week 18. He’ll bolster a new-look Dallas linebacker unit that also added Rashan Gary.
