NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) will not play in Week 9 against the Bucs.

Per Rapoport, Monangai is expected to return after Chicago’s Week 10 bye. Monangai has been out since Week 4. He finally returned to practice earlier this week, but it was for a single, limited session on Friday. He should be back in a 1B role when the Bears take on the Saints in two weeks.
