Bengals OC Dan Pitcher said WR Jermaine Burton is “here putting the time in.”

ESPN’s Ben Baby named Burton the biggest “surprise player” of the Bengals early offseason, noting that he earned praise from every person who was asked about him. Baby believes Burton “has the tools to become a big-play option in special situations.” That’s not exactly a glowing account of Burton earning fantasy value this year, but with how often Tee Higgins has been banged up the last few years, it’s certainly plausible that a motivated Burton could make some waves with an opportunity.
