Bears assistant head coach Antwaan Randle El said the Bears can “get [Rome Odunze] the ball in a lot of different ways.”

“A lot of times you see him catching these screens. But he can run routes. He can move inside and do different things too. I am excited about that,” Randle El continued. A second-year breakout wouldn’t be surprising for Odunze under new head coach Ben Johnson. Currently hovering outside of the top-50 picks in most best ball ADPs, there exists a lot of upside for Odunze to capture the Bears No. 1 receiver role and make a big leap in 2025. Randle El said he had Odunze ranked as the No. 1 receiver on the board in the 2024 draft, ahead of Malik Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr.
