Brandon Aiyuk

Brandon Aiyuk is not practicing at the start of training camp.

It was reported earlier this week that Aiyuk would show up to 49ers training camp and that much has happened. However, Aiyuk was in street clothes and did not participate during the first day. It appears we have a “hold in”. Aiyuk is in the final year of his rookie deal and is seeking a contract extension but has been unable to come to an agreement with the 49ers. He has also requested a trade, though it’s fair to say San Francisco has most of the leverage in the situation. For now, we’re stuck waiting to see who blinks first.
